  1. Diana Ross was suprisingly lucid in her video clips last night. She must have been well medicated. Lakisha Jones: Very Good. She is a little hard to look at but she has such a great voice. Melinda Doolittle: Very Good. She received quite a nice response from the crowd. Chris Sligh: He is my favorite contestant and I actually liked his arrangement. Phil Stacey: He is a little goofy, but I like him. He doesn't bother me. Jordin Sparks: I like her but she is a little boring when peforming. She is probably too young make it to the top 3. Stephanie Edwards: She is good but she didn't do anything to set herself apart from the best. Gina Glocksen: The only white girl that was worthy of being in the final 24. She the worst of the middle tier but likable. Blake Lewis: Probably the most talented performer....but he doesn't do anything I like. I don't care for the hip hop, scat nonsense. Plus...his vocals last night were pretty bad. Chris Richardson: This guy has to go. He isn't a very good singer and his whole Justin Timberlake look is disturbing. Brandon Rogers: This guy is fortunate that there are two other people on the show that actually suck worse than him. Haley Scarnato: This was horrible. I think Simon was kind to her just so she wouldn't slit her wrists on live television. Sanjaya Malakar: The Tranny wasn't the worst last night, but he is EXTREMELY disturbing to look at and watch. HE MUST GO!
  2. ...and each other.
  3. I would rather the Bills sign a serviceable CB at a reasonable price until we know what they have in Youboty. I would hate to see them spend a 1st or 2nd round pick on a CB in this years draft with such a great need at RB,LB,DT. And I would hate to see the Bills take a RB with the #12 pick since there seems to be some decent talent in the 2nd. And I think#12 might be too soon to pick Patrick Willis....I mention him since I think it is required on this board to mention him when talking about LB's. I sort of feel the same way about DT since we still don't really know what we have in McCargo. But since Tripplet isn't the long term answer and Anderson is not a stopper, I do think DT is the place the Bills have to go with their first pick.
  4. Anyone have quick access to a list of remaining Free Agent CB's available?
  5. One more than he should have.
  6. If this is the scenario (and count me in the group that thinks Peterson can indeed fall to #12 however unlikely)....I would ask for the trade partners first round pick next year plus trading 1st round positions and I would ask for a 3rd or 4th. Peterson is a franchise back, and worthy of more than just a second for the priviledge to move down that many spots to get him. The Chargers made out like thieves when they delt their Manning pick for the Rivers pick. I know this isn't the same exact situation with the same type of player values but you have to get as much as you can if another team wants what you have.
  7. I would start by offering a 5th rounder to low ball 'em then not give up anything better than a 4th rounder for J. Jones. Then I would see what it would take to sign Nick Harper to a FA contract. Then I would take Okoye at #12 ( or Branch if he were still available). Package our #2 and #3 to move into the late 1st and snag Patrick Willis. That finishes filling 4 major holes. Then take the best available FB in 3rd with the Ravens pick. Then....geez...I don't know...I would just call it a day and wait for Super Bowl weekend !!!!
  8. IMHO he would be a bona fide #2 WR on this team. And he would put up very good numbers. He has great speed, and has great hands. He is only #3 in St. Louis because he plays behind Holt and Bruce.
  9. You forgot one other thing he wants. 4. Money. And that trumps 1, 2 and 3. If they offer him what he wants, the other things won't matter. I think if this were to heat up Fairchild could sell him on the fact that: A. the Bills are a playoff contending team. B. he could easily compete for a starting position. C. it is warm in September.
  10. What is the deal with his mouth? rotten teeth? gold caps? I can't tell from that clip. It just sounds like he has half a sandwich in his mouth. Having said that he still sounds 10x more intelligent than Willis.
  11. that is an interesting comment. i have read that on other boards about Lynch. just curious....what examples do you have to back it up?
  12. pull a Richard Jeni. (sorry...that isn't funny. i was kidding).
  13. I think it is funny when a lot of "experts" on this board think it is AUTOMATIC who we pick in the first round if that particular player is available and who will or won't in any way possible make it to the Bills at #12. Last year there were a lot of people pretty confident that the Bills should take Winston Justice at #8. As it turned out, he didn't come off the board until the second round at #39 overall.
  14. "Tina's here! We're getting back together!" Pure Gold. I don't like the commercials, but that line makes me laugh everytime.
  15. I agree....which is why I think if he is available late in the first round the Bills might do what they did last year with McCargo. If they can find a dance partner to package their 2nd and early 3rd to move up for a late 1st rounder. I see a lot of mocks drafts that show Patrick Willis falling to late first round and I could see the Bills following this stategy to get Willis late in the first as well. Another option is to trade down. Giving up their #12 and packaging their 2nd and eary 3rd and pick up a mid and late first rounder.
  16. I think he is clueless, but then again so am I. I don't think he has any insider information. How could he? We are still more than one month away from the draft and lots happens each week between now and then.
  17. if another team approaches the Bills about Tim Anderson, the Bills should require a 1st round pick just because the other team is so stupid to even inquire.
  18. Will the Bills get a compensatory pick for losing Nate Clemments? If so,...do they get a compensatory pick this year or would they get it next year? Finally if they get a comensatory pick next year for Clemments, is there anyone they lost last year that would qualify them to get a pick this year?
  19. Come on! No one else thought that was funny?
  20. Good idea to trade with the Packers before they choose to trade with someone in position 1-11.
  21. You might have something there...the year the Bills took Losman, there was talk that the Packers wanted him. If their memory serves them well, it might entice the Packers to make a move like that.
  22. Who is he....and does he have a high motor?
