  1. ....and this is why I believe Kerry won't win. people that want Kerry because he isn't Bush, aren't going to have the conviction to go to the polling place and pull a lever for a guy that just doesn't get their juices flowing. sure there will be a few that the dems get bused from the local shelters....who they have managed to sign their "x" on a registration form but for the most part.....my impression is that all these college age student votes the Dems (and the Repubs) are hoping for are going to be watching the news on the night of the election and say...."oh crap! that was today?"
  2. what is funny about that phrase is that even the liberals now use it to decribe the problems with their own candidate.
  3. oh...i know...i know...the right does the same thing... save it.
  4. it always cracks me up how the left jumps on a phrase and beats it to death as if there wasn't an original thought from any of them.
  5. really? what is the gas price in NJ ? i paid 1.98 yesterday and that was at BJ's Wholesale Club.
  6. i think (IMHO) as i have been reading the book "PATRIOTS" by A.J. Langguth (which tells the story of the American Revolution) the US is fortunate that there hasn't been a Tea Party of sorts since many of us here in NY State feel we are under Taxation without Representation.
  7. My God....life is fragile!
  8. "FERGIE"? She was the fat redheaded chick that married into the Royal Family. Thanks for the info on the guy that does this locally though!
  9. i am a little suprised it took so long for someone to post this question. Fergy is my all-time favroite Bill. I miss his post game press confrences: "well....it's just one of those things..."
  10. that is VERY cool. (not to mention one of the more affordable items listed) i had no idea Bench played for the Bisons.
  11. thanks...i would be bery interested in reading that.
  12. looks like Joe Cribbs only. thanks though.
  13. interesting points... and really....my reason to ask isn't to drum up a storm of controversy on the board as the typical abortion thread does. and i also want to add that my reason to ask is not a personal situation...not that it matters. there are soooooo many scenarios that could come up... being a pro-lifer, i just wonder though....a couple different scenarios: if a husband and wife decide they want to have a child, and they go about their "business" to procreate....isn't there some sort of verbal contract?
  14. I have been scanning E-Bay and can't find anything. Does anyone else know where one could be had?
  15. Cal Thomas makes some very good arguements in this article: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,132900,00.html
  16. is there any actual written law on this specific topic?
  17. this is not a trick question....just looking for some info. Does a man who is the father of an unborn child have any rights in preventing the woman carrying the child from having an abortion?
  18. i am going to email mr. moore and ask him where he got this stat from.
  19. insinuating the somdomite rumors?
  20. here is an interesting tidbit. I didn't know the Browns were looking to hire someone to run the "i'm a big kitty dept." still just a little bitter......sorry. -- Browns Hire Cousineau -- Thu Sep 23, 2004 The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Browns have hired former Browns LB Tom Cousineau on a part time basis.
  21. it is mighty big of you to wait until the best team in the AFC comes into town to give the QB and O-Line some sort of ultimatum.
  22. clearly insurance rates have gone up. clearly more and more companies can no longer affored to foot the bill, and employees are going to have to get squeezed. but if you think you can just throw out blame on the Bush Administration your teetering on the edge of stupidity. i don't have statistics, but I have been in the work force for 18 years and I distinctly remember the rates escalating all through the Clinton administration as well. i don't suppose you have any interest in pointing a finger of blame to Billy Boy? oh thats right..the rate increases through his years in office are all the fault of the previous 12 years.
  23. apparently from what i heard on a news report this morning...and i don't even know who it was speaking... said that this producer (again, i don't have a name..) was stated to have been trying to get dirt on Bush and his service in the guard since 1999.
