without hesitation i would take the single super bowl victory! i have been a Cincinnati Reds fan all my life. and the last time they one the championship was 1990. I still have the tapes of the '90 World Series and break them out every few years. It holds me over just fine. If the Bills one the Super Bowl, I would die a happy man. If they NEVER won another game it would not bother me a bit.

i will go ahead and presume you are talking about right wing christian fundamentalism. if i am wrong, i apologize in advance. in my opinion it is the rabid, paranoid funamentalism from the "other side" of the right wing Chrisitan position that put us in the mess we are in. The dogmatism of the Christian Right has always been the same and never changed. A steady diet of Biblical principals. And beofre the Liberal Left began shaking things up, and kicking God out of Scchool and country, everything seemed to be sailing along rather nicely.

This is the one that troubles me more and more. The word "Christmas" is being replaced with "December 25th". It's just nutty.

i stand corrected. i misread the post. however...i think people mourn and respond to death and justice in different ways. if the father of a young girl who is raped and muredered celebrates the execution of scum responsible for the rape and death of his daughter.....so be it. i wouldn't be the one to tell him he is wrong.

this story is going to be all we hear about for the next 6 months. what are the chances of the bad guys paying for thier crimes?

have you considered some of the scum that have been executed in Texas? better yet....how about Timothy McVeigh. Or Jeff Dahmer? (who wasn't executed by the State...but was executed) You think these people deserve to live? OH...I am sorry...you said "human life". Sorry.
