i don't know the reason the photo was changed in the first place.
it was from a speech he gave at Ft. Drum. I have pictures my best friend took from that day. In fact the small child in the foreground wearing a white t-shirt is my buddy's son.
but i digress....my guess is that since he was already standing in front of what i suppose would have been anywhere from several hundred to a thousand soldiers the only reason the photo was changed was for asthetic purposes.
does this really change anything for anyone???
Breaking News:
Yassir Arafat has just gone to hell.
...oh wait....
nope....Paris....
yes...Yassir Arafat has just gone to Paris.
sorry for the confusion.
With all the talk about how the Bills are supposed to be a power running team yet fail to be successeful, and end up passing too much....I think he has a great opportunity to better his effort against the Dolphins. I say he gets to the high end of 101-149.
as a guy who is a Nick's on West Main regular....i have to say this is a rather over hyped statement.
i love the plate...don't get me wrong...but i can count on two hands how many places i have had a plate that is equal to or better than the original. one in particular is at the Ridge Family Diner on East Ridge.
the sad thing is Europeans have become numb to it.
i would rather see people passionately fight for what they believe in (left and right) than to become numb to it and not fight for or against certain issues.
Holy Crap!??!?!!?!?
Are you serious???
You think it would be an ok thing to have adult porn stores have window dressing like Macy's???
Children are already inundated with porn coming at them from all angles on the internet....as has been proven by any child who has gone to www.whitehouse.com to do a paper on the White House.....and it is even worse when they can get addicted to it and begin purposely looking for it. And you want it available to them in a store window?
and then.....you wonder why the youth are going to hell in a handbasket.
and just because #1, 2 and 3 are what the Religous right wants.....it doesn't mean it will accomplish it. So don't tell me they have shackled your freedoms.
#1, 2, 3 may be true, but I am all for them. I think our nation is morally bankrupt and these retrictions are appropriate.
#4, 5, 6 is simply a bunch of nonsense.
i don't mind if someone is opinionated (like Ice)...and i don't mind if one's opinions change (like Ice)
what i think is offensive is the way someone would just berate another poster because they disagreed with their opinion for one reason or another. (like Ice)

OK I have a question about this.
I live in NY State. When I go to my polling place, I am required to sign my name and the clerk matches my signature with the signature from my registration.
That book that has my signature is only at that polling place.
From the attached article I gather that is not the way it is in very state. If Mr or Mrs. Smith in Michigan goes to the wrong polling place, how is he/she allowed to vote? What is used to verify the person is a registered voter? And what is used to prevent that person from going to 6 different polling places and doing the same thing?
Bush isn't likely to win Pa.,... and I fully expect the fiasco in 2000 to be just an amateur warm up act compared to what we are going to see in Fla. in 2004.
