The one thing I like about Favre is he has never taken a single snap and then gone to the bench to keep the streak alive....(ala Randy Moss a few weeks ago). Favre is in his 14th season. His streak started (i think) during his 3rd season. However. Ripken. two thousand six hundred thirty two???? 162 games a season for 16+ seasons. Tough call. It is no easy choice.

My wife and I saw National Treasure this weekend. I told her it was about a guy named "ICE" but I was mistaken. I agree with #89. It was a good clean fun movie. Something I would have no problem bringing kids to see. A little like an Indian Jones movie. Good guys racing the bad guys to find the treasure.

I had a huge lump in my throat watching WM get helped off the field. But was happy to see him come back in after getting taped up. Anyword on the severity of the ankle injury??

i have though that he is one of the worst announcers on network TV for a very long time. i would tell you how many times he mistaklenly called Willis - Travis.....but i can't count that high. (in my best Jim Rome voice imitating Bill Walton) He is HOOOOORRRRRIBLE.

another thing to consider is once the leg is healed, teams interested in TH will take into consideration that he didn't take a "pounding" this season. which would make him fresh going into the 2005 season.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am thankful for a number of things: I just had the chance to spend a couple of days with my mom and dad. they are now retired and volunteer missionaries that travel around the country assisting in building churches. Since their schedule calls for them to be in different places every six months i don't get to see them as often as i would like. They are now in their 70's and in excellent health. I love them and miss them....so i was thankful to spend the last few days with them. I am thankful for an absolutely WONDERFUL wife! She is in large part the reason I am pleasant to others. Like Jack Nicholson said in that movie..."she makes me want to be a better person". I am thankful that I am gainfully employed. Good pay and average benefits. I am thankful for my brother who begins chemo and radiation for rectal cancer on Monday. He has a great attitude. He has inspires me....much the way my wife does on daily basis...to be a better person. I am thankful for the freedom we have in this country. The United States of America is the GREATEST country in the history of civilization. (IMHO). I am thankful that when i go to bed at night,....i don't hear sirens..and bombs and screams of suffering. if you are going to start comparing cop/law dramas...i have to go to bat for Homicide Life on the Street. I don't think I have enjoyed any network televsion as much as i enjoyed that. especially when they crossed over with Law and Order. ...now the only Drama i enjoy is The Shield....but they might have blew their load last season. not sure how they can top it. even though i just read recently that Glen Close will be starring this year.

my only fear is this kids moron agent is going to hold him out for a big contract if and/or when the Bills trade Travis. yeah...i know he is under contract....but when has that stopped anyone?
