  1. I would be very happy with any of these guys. But...we have to wait and see just how JP turns out.
  2. probably the same announcer that said Terrance McGee was selected to the Pro Bowl because of his prowess at Cornerback. retards.
  3. why not just regift it to someone who you know would enjoy it?
  4. Mick....honestly evaluate this post...and tell me what the point is? Because surely....there are plenty of Biblical relics that have been uncovered that have been proven authentic.
  5. at what expense? they gave up a #1 pick two years ago to get Bledsoe. They gave up this years 1st round pick to get Losman. (i know...i know...it's a wash in regard to giving up a first this year to get two firsts last year. ) The point is....what are you willing to give up to get ANOTHER "proven" QB? If that QB you get is any good...the chances are...he won't be available at a cheap price. Certainly not a price the Bills will be willing to pay.
  6. i know he was under contract for 2004 and the Bills refused to let him speak to the Redskins. I don't know what his status is for 2005.
  7. In the league I am in....you get one keeper. Any player you draft between round 6 and 14 can be a player you keep on your roster and be selected in the 5th spot the following year. I selected Willis with my 12th pick this year, so he will fill the slot with my 5th pick next year. As long as (God forbid) nothing crazy happens in training camp...I get him (clearly a top 10 overall pick) as my 5th rounder next year!
  8. The Steelers didn't gamble with Ben. Maddox went down with an injury...and Ben went in and played well. Had Maddox played mediocre...and the Steelers went 9-7...I don't know that they would have benched Maddox.
  9. I agree that it would be hard to fit another top 20 LB under the cap alongside Fletcher and Spikes. I noticed Josh Stamer getting a couple of reps yesterday....perhaps he will be starting next year in place of Posey.
  10. Unfortunately I agree. I think the Bills will face a season like the Bengals did this year. Commit to the young QB and let him go through his growing pains....and hopefully within 2 years, he will have matured into quality player. the bad side to that is....by then....who will be left on defense?
  11. Raise your hand if you saw: Dick LeBeau Jerry Gray Tom Donahoe Bill Cowher on the field for a single play yesterday?
  12. With the Bills finishing 9-7. The Bills grabbed him at #22. Do any of you draft guru's know their draft position this year?
  13. you know....on the bright side....i think a loss like the one to the Steelers...is more of a help than a hindrance. The Bills wacked away at 6 consecutive below avg. teams coming into the final game. The real barometer is playing against the best teams. (even though they played their reserves)....the Bills found out, they still need to improve to compete with the elite teams in the league.
  14. sure....how about week 1 against Jacksonville.
  15. how can you be so sure of that? i mean...his injury was a freak thing this summer. there a plenty of QB's that come out of nowhere and become stars in the NFL. (Tom Brady...etc.)
  16. Good Post dev. Does anyone know what the status will be for Shane Matthews? Is he expected to be resigned? Or is Travis Brown coming back in the Spring?
  17. There is a lot to be said for the courage Tom Coughlin showed in NY this year benching Kurt Warner for Eli Manning. Maybe the Giants make the playoffs, (and maybe not) with Warner at QB. But Coughlin seemed to have a clear understanding that his team was not going to go far in a very WEAK NFC playoff this year. So,...he puts the Vet on the bench and plays Eli Manning who stinks up the joint for the entire second half of the year. NOW...going into next year he has significant "real game" experience. Where he showed a lot of improvment. I am not saying it was wrong to keep Bledsoe in the lineup. The Bills were on a torrid win streak, and it was being said by most that they were the team no one wanted to face. A part of me...in hindsight...sort of wishes the Bills had been eliminated from the playoffs at least three weeks ago so they could have given Losman some significant playing time as well. But here is the thing...it was an exciting 6 week run....of road wins...home wins...lots of points scored....exciting defense...exciting special teams. So...the Bills went on a run...and gambled that they would make the playoffs with Bledsoe....they would assuradly not have made the playoffs with Losman. The question now is....have they forfeited the chance to make the playoffs next year as well due to the huge question marks at the QB position???
  18. oh wait.... nevermind.
  19. I blame two things: dropped passes penalties ..make that 3 things. turnovers. Penalties and Turnovers decide every game.....and this game was no exception. You can point to one play here or there as has already been done ad nauseum....but the bottom line is always penalties and turnovers. the team had done a great job in both of those areas the previous 6 games....the result was victories......then...the wheels simply came off yesterday.
  20. interesting that Norm Chow wasn't listed at all.
  21. Honestly? I like the fact that he isn't a fat bag of doughnuts.
  22. i really hate to celebrate a firing. but this one is so long overdue. he should have resigned three years ago. anyway....i know Gross comes from USC....does anyone know what kind of relationship he has with Norm Chow???
  23. if we win the opening coin toss....i would like to see them pull off an onsides kick for the opening kickoff. (i have never seen it done before.) the funny thing is,...I think this year when the Bills did it to open the second half, it might have been the first time i had ever seen a team do it to open a second half.
  24. I love when days begin to get longer and it stays light out so late! Next thing you know it will be Spring...and we will have the Draft and then mini-camps.
