  1. anyone know the actual seeding for the playoffs? If the Chargers win....do they play the Patriots? Or the Steelers? If the Jets win...who do they play? Same question for the Colts and Broncos.... ...Packers and Vikings? ...Seahhawks and Rams?
  2. an "e-store" link for Shaud Williams items?
  3. i said JJ using this philosophy. the defense is #2 in the NFL. i know losing Pat would be a big hit....but how much would it lose by losing one player? the OL is arguably one of the weakest areas of the team. and although JJ is one of the reasons, he does some positive things. If the Bills go out and get a "real" top LT....they can move Jennings to G or C which would greatly improve the OL. I don't care if he doesn't want to play C. If it comes down to them both costing them same...and i had to choose one....i would keep Jennings.
  4. i left for a few appointments....and i missed all this????
  5. ...and vice versa !!!
  6. this sound bite I keep hearing on the radio all day today his hilarious! did anyone actually sit through this train wreck last night?
  7. Norm Chow's Career It is interesting that he has never been a head coach. Except High School. I always wondered how important it is to a guy to have a title of "Assistant Head Coach" rather than just "Off. Coor."
  8. anyone think Daryl Gross will change his tune about wanting a Head Coach with NFL experience? the other question is.....will Norm Chow have a bunch of other organizations knocking on his door to hire him? College and Pro? I don't know what kind of a Head Coach he would make for SU, but he would certainly make the offense a bit more exciting.
  9. I don't disagree with you....but it doesn't change the fact Pete Carroll is a jerk.
  10. This is so funny! Last night...a buddy of mine and i went out to the local High School field to kick FG's. I am an overweight 190 lb. 5'11" 40 year old with about as much leg muscle as my 6 year old niece. I kicked a 27 yarder. In my first attempt. Of course...i missed everything else. And my buddy who is actually athletic but kicks FGs as often as myself...was knocking them down from 30 consistantly. So...tell me how a guy that is making an NFL contract miss a chip shot like that? When that is all he does...every day?
  11. Justin Bannan. Although he is a dependable backup. There just isn't room on the roster for Pat, Sam, Ron Edwards, and Tim Anderson plus others at DT. Dante Brown - this is an obvious choice. Rian Lindell - this guy should have been asking "paper or plastic?" 9 months ago. Ryan Nuefeld - TE is truly the weakest position on this team. I was shocked to hear either TD or MM say they were very happy with this position in the Q&A yesterday. These last three players are examples of players that make a team that regualarly finish below .500 Hopefully that won't be the Bills again next year. Pierson Prioleou Izell Reese Coy Wire
  12. I post this just for consideration. I think it might have been Peter King that alluded to the possiblity of big Pat going to Chicago via FA this offseason. Unless Pat can play Linebacker, I sort of doubt that Chicago will be where he ends up. -- Lovie Smith Identifies Needs -- Tue Jan 4, 2005 -- The Daily Herald reports Chicago Bears HC Lovie Smith, looking forward to next season, said he needed "some firepower at one of the skill positions.'' And while the defense was the best unit for the Bears, it played a miserable game Sunday against Green Bay. Smith identified linebacker as one position of need. “Missing Brian (Urlacher) hurt a lot, but LB Lance Briggs established himself as one of the linebackers in the league and we still need the other guy to step up,'' Smith said. The coach identified LB Hunter Hillenmeyer and LB Marcus Reese as players who were given a chance to settle in as the team's third linebacker but did not perform well enough to warrant the stamp of approval. Smith also criticized PK Paul Edinger, without naming him. "We know we have to do a better job with field goals and kickoffs,'' Smith said. Smith defended the play of two controversial figures: WR David Terrell and CB R.W. McQuarters. "I don't know why their names would come up,'' Smith said. "David Terrell played hard each down as far as I'm concerned. He showed up and practiced hard. R.W. played corner for us, played safety for us, he was a great return guy, and it is tough to ask a guy to move back to the safety position. He sacrificed for the team. The plan isn't to kick them out."
  13. no...i don't....and this doesn't exactly answer your question.,....but have you considered some of the "Voice Over" compainies? My brother in law is currenly experimenting with a company...and i am sorry i can't think of the name of it... but he gets, all of his phone service.....local and long distance....and all the bells and whistles of call waiting...caller ID...(all that crap)...Voice mail direct to email. Plus Road Runner Internet for a price of $50. It does not however include cable.
  14. Certainly things will change between now and opening day next season..but just for kicks and giggles.... In addition to the AFC East the Bills play the AFC West and the NFC South + the Bengals and the Texans: Dare I say 9-7 regardless of who starts at QB. Divisional Home/Road Pats 1W 1L Jets 1 W 1L Fish 2W @ Home Denver L KC W Houston W Atlanta L Carolina W On the Road Oakland W San Diego L Cincinnati L New Orleans W Tampa Bay L Considering the situation the Bengals and Giants went through with new young QB's this year....mixed with Veterans, I think 9-7 wouldn't be entirely awful.
  15. i didn't read through all the posts on this thread...but i read the article...and he made a good point that someone made on this board yesterday... of all the wins the Bills had....i cannot think of a single game where Drew Bledsoe was the difference maker. that would be a big factor to me if i were TD deciding the fate of the QB position going (not into Training Camp)...but going into next week. I would sit down with Drew immediately and get this out of the way...and tell him ....that in 2005 the development of JP will be the priority. It is his team, and we would like to know if you want to be a part of that. If not...take the cap hit, and let him go.
  16. to be perfectly honest i have no idea what you said means. i would say however that i disagree with your initial post. you are taking a single fraud....(and certainly there have been others)....which initially was never presented with the purpose to be a "fraud"...but was a discovery.....and generalized that Christians "need" these relics to substantiate or prove thier faith to be in something true. If there were no relics ever presented....and no excavating discoveries in the "Holy Land" or other locations...it would not change my faith that the Scriptures are true.
  17. nothing is threatened. that is why it is called "faith".
  18. i have the same thing...but it was always "Pete Carroll"
  19. would you say that there is no proof or evidence that "stories" or "passages" in the Bible are true?
  20. Pittsburg 44 Seattle 10
  21. Ok...here ya go....take a look at this study and tell me why the evidence that the folks at AIG provide is wrong. Let the refuting begin.
  22. "Like I said at the beginning of the year, I'm not a backup. Whatever they decide to do, wherever their mind is at, I don't know. I already know where my mind is at.'' Gee Travis....did you ever think that their mind is on bringing you back and starting you...and keeping Willis on the bench? Afterall.....mediocrity is what we all strive for.
  23. precisely why i am not going to bother....round and round the mulberry bush. i would provide links that support...you would come up with links that refute.
