  1. Bryn from Magna Corp played the same game when he was the project leader but it worked for him. I remember the week he was the PL he said in the opening meeting as they were planning the task....and ideas were being thrown around, he said,.... ".....listen, I want you to tell me this is a bad idea now....not when we get in the board room." Bryn comes accross a little hoaky sometimes but he has done a good job in all facets of working and managing....in both wins and losses.
  2. not sure if this is a serious question or not..... ..but my guess is...that with a 3 minute 40 yard dash....yes.....Clarrett is out as an option.
  3. that deal is more outrageous than the deal JJ got from the 49ers.
  4. i don't hate Flutie. he single handedly saved the franchise. but....i don't like the guy either....so yes the dislike for #7 is based on the midget. i think i would like to see him wearing #4 because of the recent comparisons to a young Brett Favre. in regard to #11. Has an NFL franchise ever retired a number for all the wrong reasons?
  5. is it just me.....or does anyone else wish he wore a differenct jersey number? like say....#4?
  6. I agree with a lot that they have posted on their thread. The New Coach wants to put fannies in the stands, and you do that by having a Super Star QB...who can "chuck it"! Depending on what the Niners do, the Fish could get the best QB in the draft....and a sort of dependable RB to hand the ball to for two years to learn the new system. MAYBE....since Josh Reed knows Saban, the Bills could package Henry and Reed for a 3rd this year and a 3rd next year depending on performance. Ok..i am getting carried away. I think TD is going to have to seriously consider coming down from his demand for a second rounder for TH. Personally....I have no problem if the Bills keep Henry....but it sure would be nice to get something for him.
  7. fortunately yes. clean as a whistle.
  8. the guy should be put to death. the lady should get life in prison. has Law & Order gone into production on this story yet?
  9. I find it interesting that Ron Edwards has now been on the roster for 4 years as was Pat Williams before he came out of Ted Washington's very large shadow. Will it be a battle in camp between these two or will they rotate with Sam Adams as a 3 man starter rotation? Has anyone heard or read any comments from Jerry Gray in regard to the deaprture of Big Pat?
  10. So...I turned 40 last year and since my Dad and brother are Colon Cancer prize winners...I had to get my scope done early. Yesterday was my first time. And everything everyone ever told me was exactly right. The procedure itself is NO problem. In fact, I went under and have no memory of anything being done. It is the prep work,....drinking the "stuff" and flushing out your system that is miserable. Anyway....I am lying on the bed in recovery...my wife sitting in the chair next to me....and I am ripping one bomb after another. (A wonderful side effect of having your colon pumped full of air). I sounded like a large outboard motor. The Dr. comes in, and I rip one. My wife buries her face in embarassment. The Dr. says to me: "I guess you don't need me to pull your finger ?!?!".
  11. i'm not convinced Driscoll resigns. the look the SOD gave her when she left to go to the infirmary once the shut downs were complete was a bit odd.....almost as to say..."why aren't you happy about this?" i think once he hears the news that her kid is dead he is responsible for removing her from duty.
  12. In other news Reds SS Rich Aurilia was put on the DL with a "hip pointer".
  13. that's the good side of a guy like that. the risk is so low the cost would be pretty cheap. having said that...i think i would still pass.
  14. Warrick was a 1st team pre-season all american. my question to you SU Hoops fans is do you think he will be a first team All American after the season? He has finished strong the last two games but seems to have been a little inconsistant through the season. Is there anyone else you know who would be more deserving?
  15. Congrats! Even though I hate CC ane will never shop there again.
  16. Skip Bayless = RJ This guy is an absolute putz. He consistantly goes negative on anything positive just to stir controversy, and to get his name mentioned.
  17. -- Henry Holding Up Proposed Trade to Arizona -- Sun Feb 27, 2005 The Miami Herald reports the proposed deal between Buffalo and Arizona which would exchange disgruntled Bills RB Travis Henry for Cardinals OLT L.J. Shelton is currently being held up. Agent Hadley Engelhard is working on a new contract for Henry, but the Cardinals want Henry to play out the final year of his contract before redoing the deal. Shelton, who was reduced to a reserve role, is scheduled to make $3 million a season for the next four years.
  18. Heartbreaking.
  19. Rich - i agree with a lot of what you have said in this thread.....about some movies being overrated. But, I am talking about individual performances. Pacino in Scent of a Woman was great even though the movie was a big yawn. Tom Wilkinson in "In the Bedroom"...IMO should have won the Oscar. Even though the movie was a very slow paced movie. The Patriot is one of only a handful that I have ever purchased.
  20. I agree...which brings me back to Frist. The Christian right will be all over him.....and if not him then at the very least Bill Santorum in the VP slot.
  21. Tom Wilkinson - GREAT Actor The Patriot Shakespere In Love The Full Monty
  22. Peter Marshall and Paul Lynde
  23. i disagree...i think Pacino in Scent of a Woman was awesome.
