  1. what was the point of introducing a character that plays the son of the President? horrible production...horrible writing. i know it is just TV, but i guess i expect it to be better than some poor 1980's primtime soap opera script.
  2. can i sign my name to that letter also? Big Twist? I'm still waiting for it. From what started out as one of the best of the 4 seasons of this show, this program did a 180 last night. one or two more episodes like that and i fail to see any reason to watch. just terrible. i agree that Heller is involved as well. unless William Devane has a contract issue and suddenly disappeared from the program all together. I can just see it....episode 24: It is all revealed. William Devane plays himself....as the evil twin of SOD Heller.
  3. that brings back memories. when i was a kid, my neighbor and i would fight over who could be Chandler. whoever lost always picked Freddie Belitnikoff (sp?)
  4. i am convinced. i looked at the league stats and he was #2 overall in the league: in 1976 McArthur Lane 66 (Chiefs RB) Chandler 61 and 1977. Lydell Mitchell 71 Chandler 60
  5. While surfing for my new avatar..... i stumbled across some stats of Bobby Chandler. I think we have had threads on this board that most guys who grew up in the '70's all idolized #81 myself included. It is funny to look back now and see that he the Bills #1 WR for about 5 of his 8 years in Buffalo. Yet if he were on any of the recent Bills teams of the past 15 years, he would be a solid #2 WR and certainly nothing more than a #3 in the early 90's.
  6. my sisters mother and my mother are the same person!

  8. 10.5 sacks allowed in 2002?
  9. that is exactly what was posted on the board i pulled this quote from.
  10. i agree...i don't recall TD ever spouting off....but has always keept his cards close to his vest. before and after a deal is done.
  11. "@340, you'll be able to run behind him all game...isn't much in pass protection credited w/4 sacks allowed, 4 false starts and a couple holds or.... .....better than 50/50 chance he hurts a drive a game." Does anyone have statistics that show a decrease or increase in OL penalties under McNally's coaching?
  12. i missed the show last night accept to see Jessica singing her good-bye song. who else was in the final three?
  13. apology accepted

  20. you would get drunk quicker if you drank everytime someone yelled.
  21. Sam Adams. oh i know....they just let Pat Williams walk away..but, you asked for a suprise cut. what happens if Sam comes into camp really really out of shape and can't give 100% and shows what he did when he got benched in that game (i don't remember the exact game) this past season? personally you know what I would love to see? a switch to a 3-4 Defense.....let Sam Adams go, and bring in Jamie Sharper. The Texans are looking to trade him or cut him.
  22. With this news: Shuan Alexander Update Tue Mar 29, 2005 The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports Seahawks GM Tim Ruskell isn't saying RB Shaun Alexander will be traded, as has been widely speculated since the Pro Bowl running back was given the franchise tag last month. But he's not saying it won't happen, either. The club has given Alexander's agent permission to seek a trade for less than a first-round draft choice, but there has been no market -- as is the case with Colts RB Edgerrin James and Bills RB Travis Henry. "Something's going to have to have to happen," Ruskell said. "Everybody is just kind of stuck. ... There's just a dance going on now. It's a very slow dance." Why wouldn't the Cardinals take a stab at Alexander for a 2nd round pick? Then trade down a few picks and take the best available QB?
  23. i have found that Team Message Boards are like real life family. you can say anything you want to about your own family....but if you walk into someone else's house....two family members who were beating on one another two seconds earlier will immediately put their disputes behind them and attack any visitors.
  24. the rule of "no embellishing" has offically been waived.
