  1. i did catch that.
  2. i think the biggest sham(e) about the HOF right now is that Lynn Swann is in the HOF and Art Monk isn't. i do believe that Thurman will be a first ballot, and i think Reed after narrowly not making on the first ballot will show his true colors and not be very gracious, and not get voted in for a couple of years after that.
  3. anyone else find it ironic that this week as Newsweek goes through the battles of this story they chose to place George Washington on the current cover?
  4. huh. that is interesting. i have watched every episode each season and i never put that together.
  5. Who is Mandy? Is she the one that took Tony hostage? I don't remember her from season 1.
  6. OMG!! And deny them of their civil liberties????
  7. give them the jobs? for pete's sake. the jobs are there for them to take now. why would they take a job that would give them a pay decrease and take them away from Oprah?
  8. i love to see how long it takes blzrul to listen to Air America for her posting material before she turns around and posts a rant.
  9. i am all for protecting our southern and northern borders....but the only thing i see wrong with what Fox said is that he limited his statement to blacks. he should have said "...jobs that not even blacks and/or whites want."
  10. when i was in the 4th or 5th grade, i had a teacher take similar action with a classmate. he tied the kid to his chair.....with arms behind his back, and stuffed an apple in his mouth. seems to me he kept him like that for as long as a half hour. i'll never forget it.
  11. you mean the game when all the fans left, and tried to "come back" into the stadium?
  12. I must say that i cannot say that without a doubt, but i have read it in Football "history" books more than once. i will look to confirm.
  13. I have a couple... Oscar Robertson averaging a triple double for an entire season. And Jim Brown never being tackled for a loss. Also Jim Brown with a 9-year career yard per carry avg. of 5.2 OJ Simpson's 6.0 yard per carry in 1973 I also agree with Kelly that Pistol Pete's single season scoring avg, is pretty awesome!
  14. i took our wedding photographer to scc for a mere $50. fee. his contract stated there was a $50. fee if we ordered our prints after one year from the date of the wedding. we ordered them two weeks before the deadline and he tried to charge me $50. So he withheld our prints until we paid him this extra money. I was so livid with the guy I took him on shere principle. My wife and I won that case without sweating a drop. The assclown got beligerant before the judge and we ended up getting a partial refund for the price we paid. I took another guy to scc. A guy i had paid in advance (with a written contract) to snowplow the driveway. he came the first couple months, and then stopped coming. I lost this deal because the pinhead literally left town. His name is however on file with the town so if his name ever pops up again on any kind of property title as moving back within the county...(maybe just this township...I am not sure)...he will be flagged and taken in....simply because as it turned out, he left about 200 customers midway through that winter.
  15. Hey Campy, that isn't the kind of thing i care to hear on a Friday. I hope everything goes well! My prayer will be that the condition has not spread, that the Dr's will have the wisdom and skill to procede, and that God will give you and your family the grace and strength to face whatever is in store. God Bless!
  16. the thing i don't like about the show is they edit it down and there is so much you don't see. so i don't know how organized Tanna was....she appeared to be very unprepared for a lot of the unexpected things thrown at her. Kendra had the Best Buy execs and the SONY Exec pretty pissed off...either by something her team did or something she hadn't planned for...and over the course of the task she managed to gain their confidence and at the end of the day she won them over. In fact I thnk the guy from Best Buy was trying to offer her a position at the end of the show. when i got married, my wifes sister sort of acted as a wedding co-ordinator. The first thing she did with us was sit down and make a list of things to do that covered EVERY possible scenario. And she carried that list everywhere she went....never lost her composure....and 6 years later we still have people complimenting us on what a great wedding/reception we had. It was all due to her leadership and preparedness. She would have made a pretty spectacular Apprentice.
  17. So did anyone else think that Tanna's project was 10X more difficult than the project assigned to Kendra? Or is Kendra so talented she just made it look that much easier? I thought it was funny that Tanna bombed so badly yet in the Boardroom the producers so desparately are trying to make it look like a cliffhanger by having George and Blondie speak highly of Tanna and question the leadership of Kendra. Tanna was my favorite to win this thing going back as far as 6 weeks ago....but she let her true colors show last night. She was awful.
  18. (spine shivers) i can't go into pet stores.
  19. You have my most sincere condolances. I read the thread topic, but did not read the post. No need to. Dogs are the BEST! Sorry...but i feel inclined to share a couple of similar stories.... My parents got a dog (a G-Shep) when I went into Kindergarten. He died my senior year of HS. So...that was like losing my best friend for life. I sadly saw our next dog a lovable mutt effectionately named "Jasper Podunk", struck by a car. That happened 25 years ago and i still get a lump in my throat when i see the image that is burned into my memory. My wife and I now have a dox mix. 12 years old. VERY lovable and great personality. She is slowing down but still shows a spurt of energy that most dogs half her age would envy. She ruptured a disk 4 years ago, and we thought we were going to have to have her put down.....the morning we took her to the vet, we said our goodbyes, because we didn't think we would be bringing her home with us. Fortunately...the miracles of modern doggie medicine she healed back to normal.
  20. Mary Ann and Ginger do thier rendition of "Great Taste - Less Filling". Pretty nice. The clip below is the PG Version. Apparently they have an after hours version for mature audiences. Pie Fight Here are some nice still pics as well: Scroll Down to "Stills From Pie Fight"
  21. now maybe he can go get some spackle and fill in that hole in his neck.
  22. that is just crazy enough to work. not to mention that Stewart is arrogant enough to think he would be God's gift to the 6:30 Network News. Maybe he could have Bill Mahr do the weekend gig.
  23. so....did you go in with the double headed dildo or just let it rip naturaly?
  24. anything by 2Live Crew. that was typically good for getting an after hours house party hoppin'!
