I have been to a lot of downtown stadiums, and I have yet to find one that compares to the OP experience, at least in my view. Personally, I like the community you see at the private lots, and I love that I am not forced to jam myself into an overcrowded bar to pregame. While some of the nightlife you see in Seattle is ok, I just don't think that model will work for Buffalo, it doesn't fit the culture of the region. Personally, I have no issue jumping into an Uber after the game and going go Bar Bill if I want to go out after.
I don't know that the infrastructure money coming to the state would be best spent on the needs to accommodate a downtown stadium. I think that extra billion could do a lot more good elsewhere. Or to pay down a tiny little bit of the national debt.
