  1. Lol, you asked for it, got a cited answer you didn't like, and are now pitching a fit. Enjoy your evening!
  2. Lol, you must have missed this one: It's ok to be wrong, Red. Just learn from it. The US isn't even on this list. "Is America capitalist? Yes, but not completely. The United States is actually referred to as a mixed market economy, meaning that it blends characteristics of both capitalism and socialism. In the United States, the means of production (such as manufacturers or importers) are privately owned and operated for profit. This is a clearly capitalist approach. However, because the economy has regulations, taxation, and some subsidization, the United States is not a purely capitalist society. The government has at least partial control over education, roads, health care, and postal deliveries. It also provides subsidies to sectors including oil companies, financial companies, and agricultural producers. Additionally, private businesses must register with government agencies, and certain types of companies need government-approved licenses."
  3. Or this list: https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/capitalist-countries Singapore (Freedom score: 89.7) New Zealand (83.9) Australia (82.4) Switzerland (81.9) Ireland (81.4) Taiwan (78.6) United Kingdom (78.4) Estonia (78.2) Canada (77.9) Denmark (77.8) I think if that many on the right would agree with you and say the same thing about politicians on the right (including Trump) if it were Biden getting indicted. It's easy to make your statement when yours isn't the only one getting indicted. Personally, I think it's fully politically motivated, but I am ok if it takes Trump off of the chess board.
  4. https://www.fraserinstitute.org/sites/default/files/economic-freedom-of-the-world-2020.pdf 1. Hong Kong (China) 2. Singapore 3. New Zealand 4. Switzerland 5. Australia 6. United States 7. Mauritius 8. Georgia 9. Canada 10. Ireland
  5. I like this one better. Does anyone know why my pic links haven't worked well lately? Also, do you have the link to Trump threatening Bragg with violence? Is it this? https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-warns-potential-death-destruction-charged-hush-money-probe-rcna76500 "What kind of person can charge another person, in this case a former President of the United States, who got more votes than any sitting President in history, and leading candidate (by far!) for the Republican Party nomination, with a Crime, when it is known by all that NO Crime has been committed, & also known that potential death & destruction in such a false charge could be catastrophic for our Country?" Trump wrote. "Why & who would do such a thing? Only a degenerate psychopath that truely [sic] hates the USA!"
  6. And for the record, I hope Trump goes away, whether to jail or otherwise.
  7. I am concerned. Can you post the links to the language Trump used to threaten Bragg? What is the actual quote?
  8. If you are going to spread your Trumporn, at least try to keep it to the appropriate thread. You are interfering with Tibs's Ukraineporn...
  9. How dare you! This is disgusting, Unforgiven! We don't kink shame on PPP!
  10. That's outside everyone's comfort zone. I wish we could bring in an offensive "assistant" to prop up Dorsey.
  11. What are you gonna do for porn if that happens?
  12. Lol, I suppose there is no accounting for taste. But my guess is that if you enjoyed your meal at the Tate it would largely be because you had unconsciously lowered the bar in your head upon deciding to eat there. But Tim has you here, methinks. Jambalaya from a chain restaurant in Times Square! 🤪
  13. So does museum cafeteria food. What a weird hill to die on...
  14. Sure, you can get good food there, but the Brits are generally not considered top tier for cuisine. What's next, arguing the merits of their dental hygiene?
  15. He's generally right about British food being pretty bland. I think both Ramsey and Oliver trained extensively in France, fwiw. London has decent food, but for a city of its stature it comes up pretty short in comparison with NY, Paris, Rome, etc. Hugh Grant is ok, but who doesn't like (some) Monty Python? and what kid didn't like watching Benny Hill chase scantily clad women around set to madcap music?
  16. Bush certainly led it, but he wasn't alone. Most politicians supported it. https://youtu.be/7WnTnLgBI_8
  17. Which was the one where the smaller country was invaded by the much more powerful country on false pretenses? Which one did Biden try to keep us out of?
  18. That's stupid, Red, but I think you probably know it.
  19. Why are you so sure he is grifting, Red? You have posted this a few times. I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt that it is not because he went after your side, but I'd love to get a reasonable argument here.
  20. Funny, I just see partisan politicians play partisan games, same as when the Republicans are "dunking on" Yoel Roth. No one is trying to get any real truth, just looking to score points for their bases.
  21. Rising prices?
  22. Can we all agree that inflation sucks?
  23. I certainly shouldn't sink to his level of insulting people. Billsy acts that way because he just wants attention, but that's not the kind he needs.
  24. In the right light, I COULD pass as a great big fat woman.
