Why do they let this guy in the locker room? The new ping pong table is a huge hit in the Bills' locker room. Richie Incognito and Matthew Mulligan just wrapped up an intense match. 28m

Sully to soon post his "Sure They Are Winning, But Do You Want To Win With This Kind Of Player On Your Team" article later today.

The whole week before the next game we should have anyone on D that could cover a WR practicing pass blocking with the OL, working on playing the pass on D like you are an OT. Hand placement, footwork, hip rotation should be at the top of the list. Even the occasional "our legs got tangled and we fell down" drill, lol. Let Gilmore and AW learn how slow Mario down, and it may show them how to disrupt Gronk's routes.

You think this is bad, go read the "My $0.10 on the game" thread. You can learn how tyrod's s***** play alone cost the Bills the New England game.
Some people cant have nice things.

Sam Malone rapping, right? Some kind of commercial? No, old episodes of "Cheers."
-
You mad bro? Is he tapping your mom or something? You couldn't have caught that ball with Cris Carter's hands. Save your rabble rousing for a week after a loss, youll find a better appetite for it.So Sammy is at best a good decoy? Would be nice to have a reliable #2, one that can play the whole game, to go with Harvin (our true #1). Watkins, 3 games, 7 catches, 99 yards, 1 TD. The TD came when the NE game was all but lost. Then he failed to make a big play on a high throw when we had a small chance to come back to tie. This guy has not shown anything since the first half of last season.

Didn't he fall down? When it stops happening it will stop being the truth.
Almost all of the big plays he gives up are plays where he let's up and lost focus because he thinks the ball isn't coming his way or will be uncatchable. The tape doesn't lie.
Otherwise he played a good game but that's back-to-back weeks where his man matchup got into the end zone.
That little bit of competitive finish he lacks is what separates him from the elite CB's.
Darby may not have the length to match up with the biggest of pass targets but his competitiveness is refreshing after watching Gilmore punch out early a few too many times.

""PENDERGAST " IS A FAT LOUD MOUTH AT HIS BEST DAYS,, IF HE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING ITS BECAUSE HE READ IT OFF SOMEONE ELSE'S SHEETS ...

I'm guessing that a new tailgate cottage industry will pop up in satellite locations and across the Buffalo River. I'm thinking of a game day carnival and party by the grain elevators. It will definitely be different than the Ralph experience, but in some respects better.
Consider this post my official copyrighting of the "Floating Tailgate", "Beer Ferry", and "Party Barge" franchises.

I expect a loss unfortunately.
I must have missed it from your other 65 posts predicting a loss. I wish I was that pessimistic, that way when you're wrong at least you can celebrate a victory!
-
than why were so many bills fans screaming their heads off while the bills were on offense. I, like the op, was also trying to quiet down the people that yell at everything
I think you're doing it wrong. You don't want your O to be taken out of the game because it's too loud, nor because it's too quiet. There's a happy medium. As for the posted that said Sunday was just right, I agree.

Don't think I could tape actual game action, though.

JohnnyGold:
props to you for starting this thread; I had a similar suggestion but a little more specific. Hear me out: as I have mentioned elsewhere on TBD, us ex-pats who don't have a chance to go to games @ RWS miss one of the greatest things - the ex-player who will be leading the charge out of the tunnel, getting things stoked up. Because the networks (CBS/Fox) basically start their telecast with the tail end of the players running out onto the field, we entirely miss the "leading the charge" spectacle. We literally see nothing of the on the field buildup b/c the telecast starts with the talking heads in the booth giving their .02 on the matchups for said game.
Last week it was Jimbo; Sunday it's D Talley; after his well-publicized health issues and support he has gotten from alumni and Bills Nation, what a great choice to lead to charge this week! Can someone (or multiple people) commit to shooting video with your phones, then uploading your content to YouTube after each game? What a great tradition we can start and hopefully add to what could be a fantastic week 2 win.
I would personally be very grateful ..... GO BILLS !!
What say you, Bills fans attending the game?
I recorded the 3 minutes at the opener where the team is coming out of the tunnel, Jimbo waiving the flag, linked below on Youtube. No promises on the quality of the video, I had been drinking for 6.5 hours at that point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1L5BsprUaY
If you are on Dropbox, PM me and I can send it that way....

Just because someone says something doesn't mean it's true. E.g.,:Somebody said stats don't lie.
Nixon: I am not a crook
Clinton: I did not have sex with that woman
Tranny: No thats not a wang, Jumbalaya, now come back to bed!
I keed but you get my point. Whats that saying about lies, damned lies and statistics?
-
Yep. Your exactly the guy I'm talking about.
Why, because I pointed out the flaw in the logic of your post criticizing Watkins for not getting more balls thrown to him? Its like the wrong-headed posts by guys criticizing EJ based on where he was picked in the draft. You're barking up the wrong tree.
-
You are totally right! For the life of me I can't understand why Watkins didn't draw up more throws to himself when he was designing last week's game plan. Or why he didnt just throw the ball to himself more often on Sunday. These stupid homers just dont get it, great football minds like you and I know that Watkins sucks. He better turn it around toot sweet, or we are gonna run him out of town on a rail! !So many homers here with Rose colored glasses. Gets a little nauseating. Dont you dare criticize anyone on my team which , BTW, hasnt made the playoffs in fifteen years. Great win last week but its one week. The criticism of Watkins, considering what we gave up, is fair.

I am a WNY expat (live outside NYC) but my family still lives in Jamestown. I hear that Time Warner now has TV anywhere, so i hope to borrow my folks twc.com creds and stream to my tv. Anyone try this method?
I also installed a slingbox when I was there for the opener hust in case, lol.

F×÷% that. What does he really have, like 7? Jesus, I would rather play QB behind Colin Brown and Eric Pears then spend the day chasing all those kids around...In my opinion, he should just retire and go help his wife take care of those fifteen kids.

Who taught you how to order a garbage plate!!!

And if the queen had balls she'd be the king. And if stevie johnson doesnt drop that pass against the steelers in the endzone we dont get Dareus.....
Not really germane buy I love that phrase.

He also confirmed Corey Graham won the safety position over Duke
@SalSports: Even though Duke Williams lost starting S spot to Corey Graham, Rex says 99.9% chance he makes team.
This is for the best. Duke has looked TERRIBLE at times...
-
Duke worries me.Worst case scenario is that Graham gets pushed back to CB and Duke or Rambo plays safety. Not concerned at all if it's Rambo.
-
If Williams and Graham haven't practiced at corner this year, I'd be a little surprised.
Robey has nickel on lock.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Robey start for McLovin until he returns with Darby in spot duty/nickel.

Is this from that "unofficial" depth chart?Fred was 2nd, Dixon was 3rd, karlos was 4th, and after Fred was released Dixon became the #2. at least from what I saw in pre season
An idea to slow down the Patriots offense next time

From NFL. COM:
An eligible receiver is considered to be an obstructing opponent ONLY to a point five yards beyond the line of scrimmage unless the player who receives the snap clearly demonstrates no further intention to pass the ball. Within this five-yard zone, a defensive player may chuck an eligible player in front of him. A defensive player is allowed to maintain continuous and unbroken contact within the five-yard zone until a point when the receiver is even with the defender. The defensive player cannot use his hands or arms to push from behind, hang onto, or encircle an eligible receiver in a manner that restricts movement as the play develops. Beyond this five-yard limitation, a defender may use his hands or arms ONLY to defend or protect himself against impending contact caused by a receiver. In such reaction, the defender may not contact a receiver who attempts to take a path to evade him.
So I say don't just jam or chuck, BLOCK. Maybe bring in Mulligan to block Gronk at the LOS, after that he rushes Brady.
