  1. If we had more consistency from the right tackle, I'd be surprised that they weren't rolling the pocket out more. Hopefully Henderson comes back and he's ready to play. If he can do a better job in pass pro than Millsy it should open up some more plays across the middle for Taylor.
  2. I actually used Carmel instead of Uber to get home (Rockland County) last weekend, it was about $20 cheaper.
  3. I think this is the point. Seems like a pretty reasonable deal to me.
  4. Of course he is getting paid to run. He is a short QB who makes up for his lack of height by moving around behind the LOS and keeping defenses honest with his feet.
  5. So your issue is with running QBs in general. I tend to agree that it's not really a sustainable path, but judging from what I've seen the guy is never going to turn into Jim Kelly. He doesn't have the height and field vision to be a full time pocket passer. Personally, I think I think the best hope is that TT watches tape on Drew Brees and rolls out as much as possible, that's his cap IMHO.
  6. Here are some numbers you can respond to,Joe: Blended 2015-2016 stats: QB Taylor Tannehill CMP 404 539 ATT 648 851 CMP% 62% 63% Pass Yds 4804 6325 Pass Avg 7.41%. 7.43% Pass TD 30 34 Int 9 19 QBR 68.5 54 RAT 92 90 Rush Yds 930 232 Rush TDs 8 2 Total Yds 5734 6557 Total TDs 38 36 I am not even saying that I think TT is the long term solution, but you are intentionally not giving the guy a fair shake.
  7. Flutie was unsustainable as a long term option at QB, I always felt he was a gimmick that defenses were starting to figure out at the end of 99. I wasn't a fan, but he did provide some exciting football. But not for nothing, a little less of that Flutie Magic in 1998 could have let to a better draft pick in 1999, which happened to be the McNabb/Culpepper year. Plus I wouldn't still have that Antoine Winfield jersey in my closet.
  8. Really wish I could paste a table in here.
  9. For your review, blended 2015-2016 stats: QB Taylor Tannehill CMP 404 539 ATT 648 851 CMP% 62% 63% Pass Yds 4804 6325 Pass Avg 7.41%. 7.43 Pass TD 30 34 Int 9 19 QBR 68.5 54 RAT 92 90 Rush Yds 930 232 Rush TDs 8 2 Total Yds 5734 6557 Total TDs 38 36
  10. And why not include last years stats if you have been hearing about it for years?
  11. Joe- Are you counting rushing TDs and rushing yards for the QBs?
  12. Rockland County NY by way of NYC and Jamestown NY
  13. I'm told my wife I wouldn't even enter the state until fast pass was purchased! Maybe I'll volunteer to be the "Epcot Dad", lol. As for the sports side, fortunately my kids stick to baseball We would certainly be a long shot to win, my hope is just like to see them compete. We won a Ripken tourney with against a few nationally ranked teams, and I think that if our pitching shows up we'll be respectable. But you're right, the kids care more about the park/pool/hotel tag than about any tournament. As curmudgeonly as I seem, I'll have a very good time.
  14. He was the guy crowing about Cassel all TC last year, right? Agreed, he's a turd.
  15. Maybe he's talking about Bill Haley and the Comets?
  16. There's always the livestock auction, cruising the 4H babes.
  17. Sucker, lol. My son was 8 before I got tricked into signing him up for travel baseball. We're going to play in Disney next summer, yay!. I can't wait to suffer through heat stroke watching our boys get roughed up against the Florida kids that play 24/7/52/365. Then I get to go to a crappy ride populated overcrowded 99% dry amusement park, HOOOOOOORAY! But this Sunday I'm going fishing...
  18. If you can afford to vacation in San Diego you probably wouldn't notice $20/night for a hotel room. Not saying I agree with it, but $20/night? Meh...
  19. To quote a great Canadian, "If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice"...
  20. Maybe the solution is having a man in the booth for each ref on the field. The booth ref can instruct via earpiece to the field ref to throw a flag if he sees something clearly missed by the field counterpart. Or pick an erroneous one up.
  21. Will have to see on TT, but I hope he turned a corner. That kind of performance is what I was hoping and expecting to see out of him this year. Seemed like he saw a little more of the field than usual on Monday, but still left a lot of guys open. Maybe the solution is a shorter OL? As for the OP, we definitely need to get some help to whoever is playing the position after the bye week. Would love to see a little more TE help, maybe a few plays designed to take advantage of overeager defenders.
  22. I hope that Sherman and Brady have a career ending collision.
  23. Sorry, I'm still trying to figure out how you weren't lying when you claimed that you felt the season was over AFTER the game, when I have provided evidence to the contrary. But I'll get there.
  24. LOL, we were down by 11 points and you declared the season over. you're pathetic. Is this how you acted when you were playing football?
  25. Good point, we weren't even getting penalized when we wanted to...
