  1. Didn't they give Brandon Stokely a major deal last year? Jesus, they spend a lot of cash on offense to sh-- the bed in the playoffs.
  2. The first 2 guys you mentioned are no longer with the team, and Klemm was pretty much a bust. I agree that NE has a great O line, but look at where they were drafted. LT: Matt Light, 2nd round, 17th pick LG: Logan Mankins, 1st round, last pick C: Dan Koppen, 5th round, 29th pick RG: Stephen Neal, Undrafted Free Agent RT: Brandon Gorin, 7th round 1st pick by SD (the starter Kaczur was injured but he was an Undrafted Free Agent). So, 2/3rds of their line was either taken on the 2nd day or not at all.
  3. It would be nice to have the QB be able to make a 3 step drop without a guy in his grill. How many times was Losman hurried on the 3rd step, and he's got good footspeed?
  4. Yeah, you're probably right. The upside is he doesn't hog up much salary cap, and I think he can still play a little bit. It was clear this year he's lost a step though.
  5. There's some talk of a Boston College - Boston University game at Fenway Park next season. As a loyal BU alum, I would jump on that ticket.
  6. Might still be there with the Titans 3rd round pick.
  7. Actually, since he's under contract he can't interview for a lateral position.
  8. You could even move up in the second. But taking him in the 1st 1/4 of the 1st round is probably 20 spots too high. One thing I will say about Donahoe's last draft: he went with the best player on their board with each pick and I think in 2-3 years we'll see some value out of that.
  9. You might be able to get Winston in the 2nd, without reaching up to the #8 overall.
  10. The Bills obviously need to upgrade the D line, probably at tackle with the #8 pick. It really doesn't matter what your base D is anymore, they change the looks constantly now.
  11. Unfortunately, the Bills have 0 defensive lineman who can play the 3-4 well at this point in their careers. It doesn't matter if you have 4 all pro Linebackers if you have 3 humps in front of them.
  12. Well said. But, I see the Bills going D line 1st round unless someone totally fell to them. I could also see them moving down a little. If the defense had been better in 2005, our offense would not have looked so rancid.
  13. Say the average ticket went up $3. That's $24 per seat, per season. If your finances are that tight, you might want to reconsider having season tickets anyway
  14. Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing. The interview was obviously him bailing out the Bills on the minority hiring thing, and the Bills helping to raise his coaching profile. But I keep thinking of him as the OC.
  15. Once Angelo came in, he was a dead man. If Angelo could have canned him after the 13-3 year, he would have.
  16. File under: much bigger fish to fry. This should be issue # 2,219,478 on the list.
  17. He was fired for his horrific track record running the front office, which directly led to a lack of depth at many key positions, contributing to that losing season. That doesn't affect him as a head coach, but let's set the record straight.
  18. Don't let the door hit you in the ass......
  19. I am not sure about Gandy's contract, but you have to think if there is a way out without paying a huge chunk of cash he's gone. Mike Williams is toast, and Villarial could be too.
  20. Mike Brown had about a half dozen huge plays that year that changed games. Still, he won 13 games with Jim Miller as QB. That's something.
  21. This guy is a WAY better candidate than Sherman or Haslett. He should have been our coach 2 years ago.
  22. Probably not. Remember, they gave Brandon Stokely a decent sized contract too, and Dallas Clark is coming up. I don't think he, sans Marvin Harrison, is good enough to consistently beat a double team that a #1 wideout needs to do.
  23. Close. Iberian (spanish) ancestry. There's a lot of debate about whether or not they actually existed.
  24. When was the last blockbuster trade involving a top pay QB? Seriously, it must have been so long ago I don't remember.
