    Only 3 teams in history have ever won the finals after being down 2-0, and none of them were in 6 games. And at least the 69 Celtics and 77 Blazers were much better constructed TEAMS than the 2008 Lakers. Not saying it can't happen, but I will say it won't happen.

    Not guaranteed. It's money that is tied up in Likely To Be Earned incentives, like workout bonuses, roster bonuses, etc. The only guaranteed money is the upfront bonus.

    Most of us work under At Will employment. NFL Players do not. It is more like a union job (say a pipefitter or a welder), but has some significant differences. The hold out is pretty much the only vehicle for a player like Peters to look for a pay change. Oh, and the workouts are also voluntary.

    Oh, sorry. Anyway, I love the thing. 34 mpg and I can haul most of the stuff I need to (bike, bags of mulch from home depot, etc). Plus the stereo has a direct input for my Sirius (or an iPod).

    Yes, the Space program is more wasteful than any social or military discretionary spending and I defy anyone to show me the positive advancements to science directly tied to the US space program over the last 40 years.
