    Ridiculous ruling on the catch - supposed to be it can touch the ground if you have possession, not that the ball hits the ground and pins it against your body so that you then get a hold of it

    Not necessarily - sometimes an injury can cause pain when using the "correct" motion so you compensate. A number of years ago I hurt my rotator cuff so when throwing with my kids I used a different form/motion.

    Ha - I actually said basically the same thing to my son during the game - we should be allowed to just concede it to move the game along
