Not sure what the point of rating the stadium itself was when it's going to be torn down in a year - "It needs a facelift"????

The solution to this is easy. The refs meet with Reid before the game and give a warning they are going to call it if they see it - Reid tells player. At the very start of the game, if you see it, you call it (maybe give one warning) - and tell the player you are going to call it. You set the expectation. If he continues to do it then you call it - you've warned the coach and player and are being consistent - if they don't get the msg theres nothing else you can do -

McD and Josh looked totally spent after Ravens game - I figured it was just the grind but who knows maybe Josh was coming down with something too. On the other hand Dion looked GREAT on the field post game. Figure the team doctor is all over it. Wash your hands boys! -

Chiefs have had so much rest and relaxation they'll put out a "Wellness" report

The "right direction" for Spector would be "too hurt to play" 😛

Because of our undersized D 😛 I still will never forget what a warrior Taron was his rookie season with his hurt shoulder - would play, jack it up (dislocate?) during game - walk to sideline with his arm hanging by his side - get worked on on the sideline / locker room then come back in the game. Week after week same thing - dude just kept going out there and getting wrecked and going back in for more. It was crazy/amazing

I’m very happy with how far we made it.

Your problem is you are doing it wrong. You are not supposed to have any enjoyment during the season - you are supposed to be miserable - the only enjoyment you are allowed to have is if your team wins the SB. Do not celebrate or enjoy any team or individual successes during the season or playoffs - because they don't matter if you don't win the SB. Enjoyment at any other time for a team you are a fan of and root for is just a loser attitude 😛 -

Right now the thing that worries me the most is what possibly shows up on the injury report. There is so much speculation and unknown status about so many players right now. My biggest fear is having to play them again with a depleted roster - with them as healthy and rested for a playoff game as is possible in the NFL. You can say next man up, but it actually matters if multiple of your best players are out or not 100% -

JFC - can people stop responding to this Harold guy - it's not that difficult to understand. All you are doing is polluting the thread. If you want to have a meaningless argument with the guy do it over PM or exchange phone numbers or email -

Thanks for posting the Dunne article. This one was good I had mentioned up thread this is something I think has gotten lost in the McD conversation - how he adamantly built a team (physically and mentally) that would compete and win in bad weather playoff weather. I remember so many years where "bad weather home field advantage" for the Bills was actually just a myth - many Bills teams over the years seemed bothered as much by the elements (or even more so) than opponents for home games -
Nice post. This is the banner I will forever remember. As far as other seared memories, being a young lad watching people pissing in hand washing stations in the bathrooms of course 😛 And being there for the highs of 51-3, to the lows (lowest of lows) of 6-3

When he made that comment all I could think about was yeah, but it's a football and the bounce wouldn't necessarily be true - made me think of using these practice balls when my son played -

Houston players weren't lying when the attitude has to be to try to be up by multiple scores to take it out of the refs hands. I'm very concerned about injuries going into the game - seems like Rapp is out, if Taron goes his shoulder is going to be jacked - people saying Milano was out the last series, Benford was in pain limping - hopefully no other major surprises on injury report -

This is a key thing that kind of gets lost in the McD conversation - he was adamant to build a team that could run and play in bad playoff weather and he has done it (and was criticized by many over the course of doing so bc they felt it was stupid to take the ball out of Josh's hands and not just have the greatest show on turf) -

That onside was such a stressful play - thinking about the ball/field being slick, the fact if Ravens recover they likely kick game winning FG with no time left with Josh once again leaving field with lead and never getting ball back, and thoughts of another unthinkable way to lose a game - raises my blood pressure just thinking about it -

It's CRAZY to me how many people don't realize this. Not just luck, but also single game changing penalties or plays. If you look at the entire run of the Patriots 'dynasty' there would be well over a dozen single penalties (mostly this), turnovers, missed plays by opponents that allowed them to win playoff games - if any one of them doesn't happen in multiple games they have no 'dynasty' It is NOT just having a great QB or coach - so many things have to line up -

Yes - I was going to add at least the "Ravens were the better team, they should have won" is more disrespect fuel for the team this week. Josh's post-game comments on being disrespected were out of character - if he is saying that you know it is a real thing in the locker room
