  1. I'm hoping Babich actually does some things this game to recognize and account for Bishop being on the field, and not just run schemes without any consideration - not just "next man up"
  2. I feel the same way about the smart/efficient offense continuing - to me though the Josh superman/cape thing will be in the form of using his legs more. If things are close esp in the 2nd half I expect them to unleash Josh more on called runs - there is no tomorrow and this is the time to exploit that advantage if they need to
  3. Taron will play - but the shoulder will still be concerning. It could affect his play and very possible to aggravate it - even just reaching out with an arm. He's gutted it out before, but sometimes there's a limit
  4. I was thinking about this the other day - Groot was drafted primarily to be the 'Mahomes-stopper' - with his mobility and length and presumed ability to actually grab and take Mahomes down as he was scrambling around. Not sure how much this has actually came true - has had some injuries and maybe Mahomes has adapted his game a bit. Would be nice to see some dividends this weekend
  5. I was thinking OMG what a luxury to be able to field 3 legitimate NFL caliber LBs this time!
  6. Not sure what the point of rating the stadium itself was when it's going to be torn down in a year - "It needs a facelift"????
  7. Also related - don't think Von was playing to the level he is now
  8. The solution to this is easy. The refs meet with Reid before the game and give a warning they are going to call it if they see it - Reid tells player. At the very start of the game, if you see it, you call it (maybe give one warning) - and tell the player you are going to call it. You set the expectation. If he continues to do it then you call it - you've warned the coach and player and are being consistent - if they don't get the msg theres nothing else you can do
  9. McD and Josh looked totally spent after Ravens game - I figured it was just the grind but who knows maybe Josh was coming down with something too. On the other hand Dion looked GREAT on the field post game. Figure the team doctor is all over it. Wash your hands boys!
  10. Chiefs have had so much rest and relaxation they'll put out a "Wellness" report
  11. The "right direction" for Spector would be "too hurt to play" 😛
  12. Because of our undersized D 😛 I still will never forget what a warrior Taron was his rookie season with his hurt shoulder - would play, jack it up (dislocate?) during game - walk to sideline with his arm hanging by his side - get worked on on the sideline / locker room then come back in the game. Week after week same thing - dude just kept going out there and getting wrecked and going back in for more. It was crazy/amazing
  13. Also include interceptions that get wiped out by penalty
  14. Makes up for the Josh MVP snub
  15. Your problem is you are doing it wrong. You are not supposed to have any enjoyment during the season - you are supposed to be miserable - the only enjoyment you are allowed to have is if your team wins the SB. Do not celebrate or enjoy any team or individual successes during the season or playoffs - because they don't matter if you don't win the SB. Enjoyment at any other time for a team you are a fan of and root for is just a loser attitude 😛
  16. Right now the thing that worries me the most is what possibly shows up on the injury report. There is so much speculation and unknown status about so many players right now. My biggest fear is having to play them again with a depleted roster - with them as healthy and rested for a playoff game as is possible in the NFL. You can say next man up, but it actually matters if multiple of your best players are out or not 100%
  17. JFC - can people stop responding to this Harold guy - it's not that difficult to understand. All you are doing is polluting the thread. If you want to have a meaningless argument with the guy do it over PM or exchange phone numbers or email
  18. Thanks for posting the Dunne article. This one was good I had mentioned up thread this is something I think has gotten lost in the McD conversation - how he adamantly built a team (physically and mentally) that would compete and win in bad weather playoff weather. I remember so many years where "bad weather home field advantage" for the Bills was actually just a myth - many Bills teams over the years seemed bothered as much by the elements (or even more so) than opponents for home games
  19. Nice post. This is the banner I will forever remember. As far as other seared memories, being a young lad watching people pissing in hand washing stations in the bathrooms of course 😛 And being there for the highs of 51-3, to the lows (lowest of lows) of 6-3
  20. lol I normally would never do it but for some reason just did - lasted like one page and stopped when some guy started going on how Bills fans push cancer kids down stairs
  21. Ome thing for sure is post game McD and Josh looked TIRED. A reminder of what a grind it is to advance and keep playing
  22. When he made that comment all I could think about was yeah, but it's a football and the bounce wouldn't necessarily be true - made me think of using these practice balls when my son played
