Maye was a baller at UNC. In college he had a lot of chunk runs/scrambles that I didn't think would translate to the pros. I think he still has scramble ability, but don't think he is anywhere the running threat he was in college. I think he'll end up being a decent QB - but I won't fear him or NE as long as we have Josh. If anything I view it as tougher games for Jets/Fins which is a good thing - let those teams beat each other while we take the division

At least on Get Up this AM Josh didn't take a hit for yesterday. Rex vocal support for Josh still MVP. In separate segment "Can anyone crack MVP race in final weeks" it was unanimous it was still Josh - Rex pointing out that Lamar has Henry, Woody pointing out loss of Diggs/Davis Bills were supposed to be worse, Orlovsky also said it was over and pointed out that if KC wins this week the Bills have nothing to play for and might rest people and not show as much on offense (didn't apply it to yesterday though - even though he technically could have). I was actually shocked for the segment they all said Josh had it - typically for 'good television' these shows make sure to have some dissenting opinions to have some argument and back-forth between the 'panel'. This was just one show - I'm sure there will be a lot of panelists on other shows screaming it's Lamar's now

I suffer from 'uniform blindness' and normally don't GAF about 'uniform combinations' but I'm all for burning those

The Tua/Miami can't win in cold weather thing is one of my favorite narratives ever. I am 100% in on it being colder than 40 degrees for both those games and Miami dropping both

The game kind of did have that 'pre-season game, no game planning' kind of feel - esp with the frustration of seeing guys like Spector playing and getting abused and 'what are they doing - why aren't they doing this' vibe. The Spector thing, trying to load manage Williams, definitely makes more sense now - but now that he is hurt wondering if we roll Buffalo Joe out there against the Jets now.
