  1. We were referring to the original comment - it is was K Clay that Daboll was pissed at a couple days ago for not looking back, not C Clay
  2. Hallelujah. How many years have I lost off my life screaming at this team to rush up to the LOS and run a play before a call can be reveiwed
  3. Yeah - it was K not C https://twitter.com/Cover_1_/status/1022927526719619073?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1022927526719619073&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.twobillsdrive.com%2Fcommunity%2Findex.php%3Fapp%3Dcore%26module%3Dsystem%26controller%3Dembed%26url%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2FCover_1_%2Fstatus%2F1022927526719619073
  4. I don't like the potential karmic consequences of this thread
  5. - Both articles mention the Allen issues with short throws while moving. Would think/hope the coaches would have him doing tons of reps on his own to correct his foot positioning etc to make it second nature - This is the first time I saw that Jones' knee injury is actually related to his "incident" - deep laceration below kneecap. Can understand how McD would be annoyed - I also learned that the Bills have a player named Xavier Woodson-Luster on their TC roster
  6. I completely missed this thread and the article when it came out and just read it. A really good read for those who missed it - goes into much more detail than the BN step by step article. It's interesting to see all the planning and due diligence that went into it - starting a year in advance, but yet still with all that planning have a scenario pop up for Edmunds that they had never even considered (Beane even says he made a "mistake" by not considering still having pick 22 and trading up). Regardless - think it shows a masterful job by Beane from start to finish. Thought it was also interesting that Beane characterizes the first meeting with Allen as "tough" - that Allen was "super nervous" and "trying too hard" - but then by the next meeting it was a 180 and Allen was calm and confident. Also good to see again the positives they saw lin Allen ive with attitude/leadership etc
  7. Anyone ever watch from the VIP area? Flying up next week with my son to go to the practices next week with my Dad. Had a connection and scored VIP tix for Thurs (my bday )
  8. This is one of those instances I feel strongly it is appropriate to start a new thread when the topic goes from speculation to actual closure. I hate having to go back pages in a thread and find when the new development broke.
  9. - How much weight have you lost I'm down 50 lbs or so. the first 20 came off quick and the next 30 or so I had to work for. Now I'm having to get all my clothes tailored - Neck injury Got my first stinger of my life this year in week 5 against the Bengals and got another one the following week. We didn't think anything of it - I got an X-ray that checked out pretty well, I just went on playing. I got a bunch more stingers as the season went on - which is pretty common among football players. After the season my wife was due with our second child and I said I've got to get out of here - rush me through my end of year physical and clear me for the Pro Bowl and let's go. And they said well let's talk about that neck a little more - so they talked me into getting an MRI on the way out of town. An hour before my son was born I get the call that my career was over. At that point you start going hey, we'll reach out for more opinions and we'll see and he said Eric we've already reached out for opinions but you're welcome to - so we did, and any surgery that would have taken the disk off my spinal cord would have also made me not pass a physical again, which essentially ended my career - How are you processing now that some time has passed I'm all right. It feels weird not prepping for training camp, and it feels weird scheduling things past the middle of July. Usually that's a shut down date - July 20th get ready to drive up to Buffalo and get ready for the season. It's different - there are days I feel some anxiety like man I should be doing something, I should be prepping to play ball. That's all I've worked for the last 14-15 years. But I'm enjoying more time with family. We have two young kids like I said, so I'm enjoying this time because at some point I'm going to be working and I'm going to wish I cherished these days probably a little more - Bills fans They made a name for themselves. Social media has amped it up, and now it's become a competition like what next can we do - they're getting lit on fire and jumping through tables I mean it's insane. But they're also passionate, they stand behind us, they stood behind us all the way through that drought. And nothing will probably stand out to me more than when we came back from Miami on New Year's eve and they ditch their plans and wait in the freezing cold for our plane to come in to give us a cheer when we come off the plane. And when I say freezing I mean freezing temperatures and snowing and their standing out there just to welcome us back. Wild and crazy but also extremely passionate. You've seen what they did for Dalton's foundation - they've been extremely supportive of what I've done over the years. They're a great group of people - they like to have fun up there too. - Kyle Williams TD It was awesome. That was a play we literally ran one time during a walk through. Never rehearsed. That game wasn't completely out of hand, not like it was a token play in a blow out game. Luckily the Dline ran an out charge and me and Richie fall on our face and Kyle just kind of falls over the top of us and it works out perfect. To end the drought and have so much fun doing it and with that group of guys was so special. I had nightmares of playing my whole career in Buffalo and never making the playoffs. that's part of the reason I signed before the eaon last year as opposed to hitting free agency for the first time in my career was because I couldn't move on from Buffalo and not end that drought. - Eric Wood foudation Will keep it in Buffalo and keep it going Good (but quick) interview. Surprised they waited until after the season to order the MRI - not sure if that will undergo any scrutiny
  10. When we played street football when I was a kid, when we tried to stretch out over the curb and and tap our toes to catch a pass, we'd yell "Bobby Chandler!" if we were able to lay out and make the catch
  11. Years ago there used to be a very compelling video on youtube a private investigator made going through all the points of why it was Jason. I can never find it anymore. I believe OJ was at the scene - but during/after Jason butchered them - which is why there is also evidence tying OJ to the scene
  12. I imagine it was lent to "them" - one of the reports mentioned Shady saying people loaned them jewelry for events. I'm sure regardless of if it was for her specifically to wear, Shady felt (or was) responsible for getting the jewelry back to whoever loaned it. Edit: I'm referring to why Shady would generally care about the jewelry getting back to the owner - and agree that it would not be a reason for him to hire someone to retrieve it - if anything it supports the theory that someone else knew about it and decided to take it for themselves
  13. Beane should have seen this coming and traded his entire draft for Saquon - asleep at the wheel
  14. More parallels with OJ - I still believe OJ's son did it
  15. Man, if Beane somehow knew about this and still had the cojones to not blink and push back on Jags for conditional 5th instead of just 6th - wow. https://wgr550.radio.com/articles/news/art-deal
  16. It all comes down to whether Shady ordered the code red. Who can handle the truth
  17. You have to be a female only to attend one of his private event celebrations
  18. In the late 90s I lived across from a golf course that hosted a celeb tourn for the Jimmy V Foundation. Late in the day I noticed that James Lofton was in a group, and decided (inexplicably) to run home and get a camera to get a picture with him. The temp was over 90 degrees, and I soon realized the distance was much longer from that hole than I estimated. By the time I made it back I was soaked in sweat and could barely breathe. As I approached Lofton I'll never forget the alarmed look on his face as this crazy sweaty person with heaving breathing approached him. It got even worse when I tried to blurt out some incomprehensible ImabillsfanIusedtowatchyouatrichstadiumthoseweresomegreatdaysGoBills blather. He was very nice though and took the picture - to this day I'm not sure if he thought I was a slow adult.
  19. This was the other Cleveland game (besides the infamous 6-3 game) I was thinking of (I think you actually identified the actual game for me the last time there was a thread on this subject). . I don't think I've ever been so cold - shivering on a cold steel bench with my feet on ice. For years and years it was a running joke with my brother whenever something was bad - "As bad as the Cleveland game?" At least I didn't cry (not on the outside anyway). What a great date for that girl
  20. I used to have a borderline irrational hatred for Coy Wire. I hated (hated) he had so many fans but he sucked SO BAD. I used to just isolate on him at games and just watch him run around clueless like a steroided chicken with his head cut off - always (always) out of position. But he could jump out of the shallow end of a pool ...
