Well - after sleeping on it, at least I woke up this AM assured in one thing: Yes, it is possible to hate the freaking Cheaters even more. I will be doing a lot of TV muting over the coming days (weeks) as talking heads breathlessly talk of Bellicheat somehow being a genius in this and Patriot** Way transforming men. F me.

They could also change the process to something where if a player is released for conduct detrimental he can't play for some period of time. There needs to be something punitive put in place so that players who just blatantly work to get kicked off their teams are not rewarded for it.

The whole "Oh the Patriots** way will straighten out player X, they won't stand for it" is a false narrative IMO. The players stop acting like idiots once they have the oppty to win a ring.

I was going to say the exact same thing - I remember the piece being passed up to the owners box - then when they tossed the other piece over the side I was like holy crap someone's going to get killed. That video is awesome though - really captures the excitement that day. Kudos to that dude in the yellow too who single-handedly got up on the GP then over on the side to jump up and down to start the process of bringing it down.
