It's better than marching out a girls flag football team

What does Logic say 😛

People who say "he probably would have been there if we didn't trade down" don't understand that usually the team moving has reason to believe that player is targeted by another team in front

And apparently the shoulder was mostly due to an infected needle - not injury prone bc small -
Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

Didnt realize the missed time from shoulder "injury" was mostly because of an infected needle at the hospital - that's crazy -
Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

At his PC Beane said he already has gained some weight and is "in the 190's" Was confident some time with Bills staff would add muscle without sacrificing speed -

Maybe Steelers will get Sanders after all

Serious question - one of the strikes against Buffalo hosting events like this is supposed to be lack of hotel space - surely it has more than Green Bay?

Thought McD's 'halftime adjustment' answer was interesting. Something that is always discussed during games - and Manning famously downplayed "I don't know if I ever made a halftime adjustment in my entire 18-year career. I think that's the biggest myth in football- the halftime adjustments. You go in, you use the restroom, you eat a couple of oranges, and then the head coach says, 'Alright, let's go!" McD kind of echoed that - and said you need to start making adjustments in the 2nd quarter.

Random item: On Mcafee today Rodgers said Josh was one of his best friends in the league (context was how he had discussion w/ Daboll and enjoyed him)

Miami Herald: Dolphins players have turned on McDaniel

In that hard knocks when he tried to "rally" the locker room by talking tough it was one of the cringiest things I've ever seen. You could almost hear the eye rolls. That hard knocks season is exhibit A how you first need to be a leader of men to be a good HC - 'quirkiness' and word salads don't win the locker room when things start getting tough -
My timely hot non-Bills sports take is the Masters Butler cabin "ceremony" sucks. Nothing drains the fun/excitement/celebration out of a just-happened championship win like that does

Hypothetical has no relevance to my point. The only way to win a SB is to be good enough to contend for it. Enjoy having good teams year after year that have a real chance to win it.
-
Its actually a good thing to perennially wim the divisiom, make the playoffs, and be in contention for a SB

Throwing this in the first Josh thread I see.. ESPN Master's coverage just interviewed Sam Darnold. He's there with Josh taking in the tournament, but Josh didn't want to go on camera. Darnold said Josh would rather heckle him from off camera

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
stevewin replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
The wind (confused or not) will also have a big effect on which seats far below get wet. From the FB pics you can see the 2nd 3rd level are actually covered by the overhang above - these are surely included in their percentage calculation of covered seats (although on the other side it looks like these levels might not be outdoor seating but maybe suites or club area) This is cool - thx for posting -
From the archives...Fredonia Training Camp Days
stevewin replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah - the great thing about Fredonia is it used to be so unstructured and you used to be able to be so close to the players and move so easily around to where different groups/players were -
I told my wife Stefon Diggs was going to the Patriots. Her response: "Oh, that's sad for him" 😆

Hoecht and Ogunjobi 6 game suspension for PEDs
stevewin replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm rooting for him. I did think it was kind of interesting it felt like he came in at 100 for PC "It's so great to be here!" - seemed to be wanting to set a real over the top positive/optimistic tone, knowing that the suspension questions were sure to come -
Hoecht and Ogunjobi 6 game suspension for PEDs
stevewin replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's a good summary. Regarding Hoecht, they were in for him long term, even knowing the details of the suspension. Beane was not 'clueless' regarding it - he accepted it and the consequence of the 6 games he would miss to sign the player. And since Hoecht will likely play a role as a rotational 'chess piece', it's not like they are losing an every down starter for those games. For Larry, you are talking about a depth lineman. Once again Beane went ahead with the deal even after finding out - at the same time the player did, and even before the league did - because in terms of FA depth linemen he didn't think there was anyone else worth signing out there so he just decided to do it, and he might have even considered the cap savings based on the situation to actually be an added positive. Esp for this player the Bills will be drafting likely multiple DTs who may be better. Now those rookies (and other depth players) will play the first 6 games and it will be seen what they can do. After the 6 games they may determine Larry isn't better and act accordingly. In either case I don't think it shows Beane is stupid or clueless- they were calculated decisions (which included his assessment of the character of the players and circumstances of the suspension). And the loss of either of these players isn't going to put us at any huge disadvantage for the first 6 games. I think many are reacting to the headline "Bills sign two FAs who are suspended for PEDs!!!!" on a surface level of 'optics' vs actually considering the real events and actual consequence -
Hoecht and Ogunjobi 6 game suspension for PEDs
stevewin replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Injuries aside, who they keep will be based on how players perform in 6 regular season games - you can't get a better indicator than that. Hoecht is a lock to return to the team after suspension, but Ogunjobi to me isn't as clear cut. Would they keep him over someone who is playing well in real games based just on what he showed in TC/preseason.
