Didn't realize this - and I was going to complain they should have more than 5 'protected'.
To me it's stupid to not have more protected spots (and not make them permanent) In These Uncertain Times. What is the downside for ownership - having to potentially pay a few more veteran salaries?
Oh that might explain it. On the close-up, shows might have been stepped on for just a second - that's all it would take I guess. Still a great aggresive rush
As long as they ban train horms I'm fine with it.
On a serious note - I actually like what the NHL has done with the crowd noise for playoffs. Part of it I think is they are being skilled in how they are executing it - a lot of the time I forget that it's fake.
Surprised it took so long for this one - it's the first one I thought of
BTW - here's the story of the sign

This isn't at a Bills game but could be the best sign ever at any game
33:30 – "John Brown – when he came in – the work ethic this guy showed – how fast and how hard he ran his routes – each and every day in practice. It was like – this is different. I didn’t have this last year….. Then when Bease came in he was the same way”
Growing up, the father of my friend across the street was a cop. Every year around every 4th he used to bring home a bunch of confiscated fireworks - man did we blow some sheet up
Yeah the "year w/ no games" was sarcasm (though honestly I won't be surprised if they don't make it through the full season).
People seem to forget the Bengals was just where they got caught - zero doubt they've been taping other games all along.
In a normal corporate environment they would have been thrown out a long time ago - and blacklisted for the scum they are.
