  1. I guess I'm in the minority but to me he's been ordinary for years. All he's done is make short timing passes in an offense that he's been in for 700 yrs - and of course benefit at least once a game from requisite phantom PI calls on his "long ball".
  2. The nice thing is after the refs hand the Pats** the game this first half with game changing "officiating" we can look forward to some meaningless "evening out" calls in the 2nd when the game is already out of hand
  3. If teams would just make Brady throw out routes and something other than dinks over the middle he may never complete a pass
  4. This is an embarrassment for the NFL - at least try to be a bit subtle in your crooked officiating
  5. They didn't "find" the tackle 5 yds OOB by the Cheaters tho
  6. The Athletic has us at 9 9. Buffalo Bills (4-1; Last week: 12) The Bills head into their bye week back in our Top 10 after a road win at Tennessee, and with a 76% chance to make the playoffs, according to fivethirtyeight.com’s playoff projector — better odds than all but three other teams (Patriots, Chiefs and Saints), which is a nod to how favorable the post-bye schedule looks for Buffalo. Next up, a home game against the Dolphins on Oct. 20. https://theathletic.com/1275035/2019/10/08/nfl-power-rankings-week-5-gifs/ Bottom to Top Miami Wash Jets Cinci Atl Cards Pitt Giants Broncos Tenn TB Jax Browns Chargers Raiders Panthers Bears Texans Lions Vikings Ravens Cowboys Colts Bills Rams Eagles Seahawks 49ers Packers Chiefs Saints Cheaters
  7. Haven't read this whole thread not sure how much it's been mentioned - I know some people think a 5th two years out is low compensation, but think the fact that it's a 5th rounder in and of itself is significant - it plays into one of Beane's main strategies to have meaningful draft pick capital to be able to make moves. Don't think it bothers him it is two years out, since he is planning long term - and he can make more use of a 5th in two years to make potential moves than a 6th or 7th next year.
  8. Maker Playfield came to play
  9. Part of the event of MNF used to be the announcers. Honestly these guys take so much away from the game for me
  10. I thought I saw someone say after the game that this play was a designed run to Gore but Allen decided to take off himself? Is there an confirmation on this?
  11. Almost as old as the real Bobby Chandler ? HBD
  12. I like to see KC knocked down a notch off their lofty pedestal, but also not happy to see a team with potential position for home field against Pats** in playoffs take an L
  13. All the injuries and other guys stepping up and filling in is a testament to the depth of the roster that's been assembled Two things especially make it feel like the tide is definitely turning 1) It always seems like kickers never miss against the Bills, not this time 2) How many times over the years has the D had to make a stop to get the ball back in the final minutes only to have a few soul crushing first down conversions made on the ground by the other team to run out the clock - today we were on the good side of that
  14. Because Allen had one bad play
  15. Great block by Smith on Gores's 11 yd run then great block by Roberts on that one
  16. Surprised Vrabel not going for FG
  17. We're going to need Zay to step up and play DL
  18. Need a 1st down or two - Bills D is gassed
