  1. I was thinking the same thing - from a financial standpoint the "timing" argument doesn't follow. There is an aspect though as well, that now that everyone knows AB is cra-cra, people might be more willing to believe her side of the story. Note that to me, this doesn't necessarily mean that because of this, her story isn't true (which many jump to make that connection). It could be that she didn't feel it was worth even trying when he was a beloved sports hero - but saw an opportunity when parts of who he really was started to be revealed to the public at large that people would believe her. That's also a very interesting point about the timing with her marriage - maybe getting married also facilitated it - perhaps there was some sort of revelation/closure with her fiancee to get it all out in the open prior to getting married.
  2. Thanks - it all makes sense now It is a good thing the divorce settlement didn't have a clause where "spouse represents & warrants there aren't any existing circumstances when signed"
  3. One of the things I am actually hopeful for is Me Too marches/demonstrations outside their stadium at all home games - covered by the media. At a minimum have it create some embarrassment and negative public opinion
  4. I like GMFB as much as the next guy - but ultimately they are primarily a PR outlet for the league
  5. It drives me crazy how they are constantly held up by the media as being the paragon virtue and character for a modern sport franchise - when in those aspects they are quite literally the worst of sport
  6. Mostly a restatement of the lawsuit - but includes some pics as well as gymnastics video https://heavy.com/sports/2019/09/britney-taylor/
  7. Will 14 weeks of PEDs be enough time to get back to his playing weight?
  8. I was honestly thinking that - that whole exchange seems contrived . Being serious when I say I don't think AB even knows what the word extort means.
  9. Anyone who is thinking of posting in this thread should read this (the actual lawsuit) first
  10. Will get even more interesting if more alleged victims come forward
  11. So is he just REALLY unathletic that he can't stand up properly, or was he just REALLY drunk?
  12. This is one reason why Pats**/Jets games still matter
  13. Siran Neal is who came in, gave up 10 of the 14. If Taron Johnson continues to be out they may move Kevin Johnson to the slot over Neal
  14. Yeah there werr times I saw both Shaq and Hughes out there at the same time. Before that I kept thinking wow is Shaq really taking that many reps from Jerry, but it was mostly because he was noticable on so many of the reps he did have.
  15. NFL receivers are supposed to catch catchable balls, even if they are not perfect. Anyone who says the ball was not catchable is not dealing in reality. The doink off the knee into the arms of defender was just a fluke and bad luck.
  16. I honestly don't get why people want to assign ANY blame to Allen on that play. A receiver's job is to catch catchable passes - including those that aren't perfect. The pass wasn't perfect, but was eminently catchable. As you say - the bounce was just bad luck. I also think too much is made of int off batted pass. That is another fluky bad luck play. Sure sometimes the QB needs awareness of where defenders are etc, but the majority of the time it's just a hand that goes up and it's just bad luck - or a great defensive play. And then for it to be intercepted is basically the definition of fluke - the ball can go ANYWHERE after being deflected. Some people were ranting about how terrible that throw was bc it was deflected. It just happens sometimes. Darnold had five (5) batted passes - but none were intercepted because normally they aren't.
  17. It's kind of crazy that the NFL/TV production crew doesn't make sure to have camera views down the line when the ball is at the goal line.
  18. Think both these are good points. Even tough I don't think it was a safety - it was a terrible play by Gore "the most experienced RB in the league" to not get low and make damn sure he did not get stopped at the goal line. Yeldon catching some balls out of the backfield would add another dimension to the offense as well.
  19. Mutiny yes, but when is the revolution?
  20. They didn't actually show it, but I guess the one "taunting" penalty was actually him going to stick up for Josh against the Jet who was laying on Josh and taunting him with a finger in his face
  21. It was actually stolen from Cotton McKnight https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/3d6e0769-815c-417d-bac6-612f510c6263
