  1. And Von is doing his typical rope-a-dope. Wouldn't be sad to see a LOT less of AJ and Von out there
  2. Would have like to see Cook with a little more urgency to get to the sticks
  3. My son literally said this just before I read it
  4. We've been faking our screen game as inept all these years just as a set-up for this game
  5. Yep - my son and I both said an elite receiver like Jefferson attacks the ball and plucks it out of the air
  6. Looked like Rapp hurt himself that play
  7. Love that planned rolllout wish they did it more
  8. How can you purposely kick it to the corner and then not cover the return up that sideline
  9. I came here to post that need Saquon to have a couple bad weeks to stop the Saquon MVP nonsense. Go Panthers D!
  10. If I had a concern about this game it might be weakened legs for Josh after getting into LA yesterday- but resulting High Positive Josh should more than offset that
  11. This randomly brings to mind a guy I lived with out of college - I rented a room in his house when I started my first job. He fancied himself a 'bodybuilder' and was always trying to 'bulk up' (this was long ago before nutritional supplements were so popular). Every morning he would make his lunch - he would take a full loaf of bread - put luncheon meat between every other slice - and carry the loaf of sandwiches and a gallon of milk to work and just eat sandwiches out of it during the day. He did this every day. He was a weird dude
  12. This. PR stunt and nothing more. Give UNC some PR in their HC search - gives the desperate fat cheating POS ex-coach some headlines in his desperate search for NFL coaching job (where no one is interested in him). Next he'll be guest hosting Wheel of Fortune in his desperate attempt to get his fat mumbling face out there even more to try to be relevant. Just go away you cheating washed-up douchebag.
  13. Well at least people don't have to be all worried about playing a 'desperate' Lions team after a loss
  14. Mentoring? Aren't they just paired up for a drill?
  15. I have no probem with erring on the side of over-protecting QBs - the more protected starting QBs are and the less crappy backup QBs I have to see see, the better the product is (and selfishly want Josh protected to maximum possible) I think the rules are fine today - and think the whole "it's not fair to the defense" when a QB is ambling in the open field and going to slide because the D "has to make a 1/2 second decision" is total BS. In the case of Lawrence, Al-Shaair had penty of time to see that Lawrence was going down. Even if you've left your feet, just don't forearm shiver the guy in the face. When a QB is going down the D just can't try to lay a hit on them. In the case of Mahomes on the sideline - just get your arms around him - don't try to make a big hit (or be paralyzed bc you're afraid a big hit will draw a penalty)
  16. Funny there have been other times on ESPN shows this week since the Lawrence injury where they've showed Josh's run in the context of fake sliding - sometimes rolling it in a loop in conjunction with Pickett's classic fake slide in college - and it also pissed me off, the Josh play is not close to a fake slide - it's just a juke
  17. Wonder if Samuel foot is turf toe raising it's ugly head again
  18. hAvEn'T wOn tHe LoMbArDi - nO rInGs
  19. Find someone to hug you like Micah hugs Josh
  20. Then after they move to the new stadium, and the current stadium is demolished - leave a Pit on the site of the old stadium, complete with a stairway, to push the kid into the Pit for the "Kid Down The Stairs" contest (not sure if giving them hallucinogens and dunking them in a porta-potty first would be going too far...)
