  1. or the cause
  2. No - 360 spinning handoffs, end-arounds to our tiny gadget wr, tackle-eligible passes in the middle of the field - oh wait....
  3. The most-amazing thing to me was some talking heads this morning actually saying that-which-must-never-be-said - that Allen is the best QB in the league. Previously an absolutely unheard of thing for anyone to even question the absolute majesty of almighty Pat
  4. I think this is a HUGE point that just gets ignored in the "all that matters is how many rings you have" blinders view. Same as taking the Bills 0-3 vs KC playoffs and just ignoring any context. Most SB runs involve a lot of luck and circumstances. Factoring just Bills alone, KC doesn't have two of their rings without the miracle of 13 secs and the Bills having no LBers last year - and there's plenty of other examples other games. Yet it all gets boiled down to "Mahomes is the best in the universe wihtout peer bc he has 3 rings!" (even though rings and wins aren't QB stats regardless) and the Chiefs are this unquestioned greatest team by some even though as we've seen even this year the luck they've had (and assistance from refs)
  5. If it's the play I'm thinking of it was a play the Chiefs were trying to get Buffalo to jump Offside - I remember at the time thinking wtf was that and when I rewound it I think he was just trying to do something crazy there at the end to make someone jump - almost semed ad-libbed to me though it was just so odd
  6. It's a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma
  7. Pretty sure (if done properly) it would have been an immediate 'eye in the sky' review - immediate reversal and not involving the refs on the field and slowing the game. It goes to what I believe should be the fundamental guideline for any eye in the sky review - "if millions of people sitting on their couch can easily see an obvious error - correct it immediately and move on"
  8. Ok - so at the :51 mark, dude reveals this shirt
  9. Yep - ironically losing Diggs did a lot to help Josh's MVP case - doing more with less, spreading ball around, everybody eats etc
  10. On Get Up they did a little discussion throwing shade at Worthy - Bruschi: I love him on the sweeps but he needs to be a better threat down field - then they showed him stepping out both this week and last week and Bruschi literally said "Maybe he has spatial problems" lol. Rex went further - "Better track player than football player ... everyone fell in love with the 40 yard dash - if he wants to run a 40 fine he can compete with anyone - but unfortunately you put pads on. The NFL is a size/speed league - it is not just a speed league" Think it's interesting the thought is that KC was feeding Worthy early to troll the Bills and show how smart they were to trade for him and it seems to have backfired a bit at least yesterday.
  11. In the same segment Damien Woody said Josh was the best QB in the league right now (to the gasps of some over St Patty) Also on Sportscenter Herm Edwards also had the Josh is the best football player take
  12. Yesterday Harry Douglas inexplicably went feet first and almost cracked his skull open https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/42446267
  13. One funny thing on the run is I feel like when Josh saw the safety there as the last man standing between him and EZ he so badly wanted to ROCK the guy and totally blow him up, but then when the contact initiated I think he just focused on securing the ball (before getting punched in the face by the next guy)
  14. There's been some high praise so far on ESPN Sportscenter and Get Up - Herm Edwards and Rex both said Josh is the best football player in the league - Woody said Josh is the best QB in the league right now (shocking sacrilige notion over St Patty) and Bills were the best team in the AFC. Also Josh MVP discussion has really got a bump - esp with the TD run being called 'play of the year' Was interesting also on Get Up they did a little mini-discussion throwing shade at Worthy - him stepping out both yesterday and game before - and Rex saying speed alone is not enough in the NFL. An interesting development given the notion that KC intended to troll the Bills with lots of Worthy to show how smart they were for the trade - and even given Worthy's early success in the game the narrative this AM at least on what I've seen on ESPN is pretty much the opposite of the narrative KC set out to highlight (and not to mention the dumb outrage the media and some fans had at/after the draft "Why did stupid Buffalo give* Worthy to the Chiefs!!!!" *of course ignore the fact that KC actualy PAID the Bills)
  15. If the window is closed, the door sure is open
  16. Its crazy they can't put a camera on each post to remove any doubt in these cases
  17. Will charger rush 2?
  18. I actually think Hollins was just signaling 1st down, and had no clue Josh was going to keep going and superman it all the way to the EZ (who can blame him)
  19. Did Brandon staley start coaching the chargers after halftime?
  20. First I screamed at him/TV "WTH VON!" - then wrote a strongly worded post in GDT
  21. I mentioned it in the GDT - he appeared genuinely pissed multiple times
  22. The hiding of Jalen Virgil until the playoff rematch is going to have epic dividends
  23. Lamar losing and that single run likely did a lot to affect the MVP conversation within the span of just a few hours
  24. On his TD run it looked like 23 punched Josh in the facemask on his way to the ground
  25. Its pure crazy town to me this thing of trying to correlate a regular season win against KC to a playoff loss. What did the regular season win in '21 have to do with 13 seconds, what did the win last year have to do with having no healthy LBers in the playoffs. It's such a dumb narrative
