Yeah - for all the people saying wind won't be an issue bc of Josh's strong arm - on long balls it doesn't make any difference how strong your arm is - once it's way up in the air it's going to get blown all over the place. Will make us much less multi-dimensinal if the long ball is taken away by the weather.

Continuity for the offense is so huge. The worst thing they could do IMO is bring in someone with a new system. Would rather have Dorsey and the same offense with limited previous play calling experience than a new OC with new system that has called plays. It seems Dorsey and Josh have a good relationship, he knows what Josh is good at and likes, and at this point Josh is getting familiar/experienced enough to check into his own plays at LOS more and more

Not sure how feasible this would have been, but think about how cool it would have been to have the cascading sound of thousands of cars honking/cheering from the parking lot drifting into the stadium for big plays -

Would love to see Williams brought up as well - a bruising change of pace option for selected plays, also some RB depth if one of the other guys go down. For protection, just make sure Singletary/Yeldon are out there on passing down. Question is who would he replace (wish the NFL would add a few more payers to the game day roster limit - reward deep teams and teams that have good specialists on their roster for STs etc.)

Add this to the "Correcting the narrative" folder. There's no doubt it's a great testament to Josh that he worked hard to correct flaws, but all the people who say he totally sucked his first two years and was innately innacurate ignore the people he was playing with and the overall situation. Epecially in the first year he was running around behind a bad OL throwing to crappy receivers who couldn't get open or make even semi-difficult catches (and apparantly were running routes incorrectly as well) - just trying to make something happen [how many times I had to hear people on this board wail when a throw 1 ft off center was dropped by a Bills receiver "Innacurate!", and then you watch any other NFL game and even just just marginally competent receivers all over the league are routinely catching those balls and worse] -
On GMFB Schrager reported that the eventual firing was more about breakdown of communication/relationship between Pederson and management than related to tanking. losing the locker room, Wentz etc.. He cited last straw was mgnt wanting to have a say with the assistants he was going to hire and Pedersen wanting to pick his own guys.
