  1. Have to admit I chuckled at "How can I help these phones?"
  2. The irony is he was doing the bit the producers wrote for him - and I know it's all in fun and people know it's a joke - but he's on record as saying if the toss went the other way and we scored no one on our side would be complaining
  3. Josh deserves a medal for the gauntlet of sitting with some these idiots with the same tired rehashes over and over. The wait 13 second thing was seriously one of the most cringe things I've ever seen - someone thought it would be cute beforehand but it was just assinine - he should have just said 13 seconds is enough time for me to get out of this sh!tshow and walked off
  4. A least it wasn't a "There's only 13 seconds left in the show" bit
  5. Josh huge step forward, 13 second defense huge step back
  6. One thing is likely - before every kickoff Matt Smiley will make damn sure that the kicker knows where to kick the ball
  7. This is one of the most vicious lowkey disses I've ever seen lol
  8. Good scheme fit for Mac Jones
  9. OMG - I actually looked for that iconic picture from under the basket that showed the scoreboard and that time had run out before McAdoo touched him - I couldn't find in anywhere online (it's in my copy of "Buffalo Home of the Braves" book - which is signed by Jack Marin BTW ) God I loved the Braves
  10. That's a cool connection with Havlicek, but as an old Buffalo Braves fan I still hold a hatred for the Celtics deep in my heart. I will say one time when I was a kid for some reason we were in the hotel the Celtics were staying at in Buffalo (maybe a brunch or something?) and all their players were in the lobby - and probably somewhere still in my Dad's house is the piece of paper from that day with autographs from Jo Jo White, Havlicek, Cowens etc - even Heinsohn.
  11. lol - I was going to say those moobs would look good on a Greggo Williams staff
  12. And also threatened to kill the kid's family if he told anyone lol. Is it bad I kinda sympathize with Kromer and figure the punks probably deserved it 😛
  13. That's awesome - hopefully Josh felt the love. A few years ago at Bills TC we were sitting in the VIP section in the stands - we had the pic in my avatar of my Dad and son w/ Josh from the year before, my son brought an 8x10 just in case there was an opportunity to have Josh sign. We soon noticed that near us in the stands was Josh's family - his mom, dad, grandmother, sister, and the lovely Britt. On a dare my son went down and asked if they would sign the back - they were all extremely cool about it and passed it around and each signed and laughed - and chatted up my son for a few minutes. Very genuine cool people.
  14. Nice experience, especially to share with your kids. So there were a decent amount of Bills fans on the course - were many following him?
  15. I said in another thread watching Jones in the Pro Bowl Skills bonanza was like a long game of "Which of these things is not like the others"
  16. "I hate it too" - signed Brian Moorman
  17. It was fun watching him try to catch a dodge ball too - you're out
  18. Didn't think it was possible but stuff like this makes me love Josh even more
  19. In Wilmington there was a deli across from UNCW campus - South College Deli - that was opened by a couple from Buffalo and had *great* food including authentic beef on weck. When my son was going to UNCW he went there all the time - and we always stopped there when visiting him or on our way down the Carolina Beach. After 21 years they had to close because of the pandemic. Truly sad http://www.wilmingtonbiz.com/restaurants/2020/06/17/south_college_sandwich_and_deli_announces_permanent_closure/20515
  20. Yeah this happens with all the 'wrong' merchandise after a championship - there was a hell of a lot of Bills SB champs T-shirts and swag in 3rd world countries in the 90s
  21. Funny - the first pizza I ever had in Rochester was one I remember the most. One of my first nights in college and someone ordered Dominos - I had never had it before, and it was shocking to me. I could not believe an actual pizza place made pizza like that (growing up it was always exclusively local pizza joints). Of course over time my body adapted to it on beer-soaked nights
  22. Fun story about pizza in Raleigh. About 20 years ago I passed by a place that just opened in Cary called "Buffalo Joe's". Intrigued, I went in and talked up the guy working there. Turns out his father was a retired dentist from Cheektowaga who moved down and opened the place, and he was running it. He said they got their dough recipie from Casillo's in Lancaster (had my share of Casillos growing up). The pizza was genuine Buffalo. Good wings too. After a bit I could tell though that business wasn't going great - despite my efforts to single-handedly keep the place in business, they eventually shut down. I miss Buffalo Joe's
  23. I actually watched this - were some cringe moments but they did the best they could with it. I was wondering why would anyone do this and before the "fastest man" (which Tyreek Hill didn't try on BTW - easy to take any pressure off losing if you just tank it) they were interviewing the guys before the race and one of them said "I just want to get paid" lol I definitely had a "Which of these things is not like the others" moment each time Mac Jones polluted my screen
