Capitol One The Match (Allen Tattoo)
stevewin replied to TheNorwoodStrangler's topic in The Stadium Wall
Watching this is extremely challenging for me - I am used to instinctively hitting mute when brady talks or someone talks about him -
And Dion should keep his shirt on...

Same - I always appreciated even when he was a beat reporter from Syracuse he would try to find different angles for stories, and actually do the work to make calls and find people to interview for stories, instead of just rehashing quotes from PCs like so many guys do -

How did your friend get to be Josh's caddy? -
I was thinking the same thing. I guess he just really really wanted to see the Bandits locker room 😛

They don't go to the hat factory anymore? And where's The Falls?

Was just going to post this after watching. Gould talking about left turns coming for the 2nd half - both him an Odenkirk talking about twists and turns while still having satisfying conclusions true to the different characters - could bode well that Kim does make it (would they really speak interms of 'satisfying' if Kim got killed?) Random thought about the episode - at one point after Lalo's masterstroke to use the phone bug to his favor, Mike tells Gus we've pulled the protection from all the "low priority" targets, my first thought at the time was does that include his granddaughter - turns out it did include Jimmy and Kim. The fact that Mike considered/determined that Jimmy and Kim were "low priority" targets (after Mikes' earnest dicussion with Kim that she would be protected) ia what ultimately led to Howard's demise.

Funny how the slight distortion / low resolution makes it look so much like a Braves logo
-
Haven't gone through this whole thread - has anyone commented that the Josh flexing image on Josh's shirt has a Braves logo
-
OK - so on the short list of greatest things I've seen in my life - the Josh Allen flexing image on the Josh Allen flex shirt which Josh Allen is wearing in the Bills schedule reveal video has a Braves logo

My Dad used to take me and my brother to Little 3 games at the Aud. I was really young for Lanier/Murphy, but definitely remember seeing Fogle. I had a cousin who attended Canisuis then and I remember asking him what Fogle was like and he said no one knew because he never went to class 😛

When I was in high school I had a SD Aztecs t-shirt I got from Champion that was my favorite shirt because it was so random - I wore it all the time. And then they drafted Matt Kofler my senior year (RIP) - who ended up marrying a girl from my class! -
Great article - Raisinets, really? - I guess it's been reported before but another confirmation Josh and Mayfield were their two - This article should be required reading for all the people in the draft threads constantly having fits "They should have traded up/down!!!!!" - you need a partner to make a trade and it isn't easy. Also req'd reading for the "He would have been there X picks later!!!!!" crowd (Cue the wailing in the Josh Allen draft thread there was no neeed to move up) - Interesting tidbit about the Tyrod trade - says they could have gotten more from Denver - dealt to Cleveland in part for some goodwill for future move. Can you imagine how pissed Beane must have been at Dorsey for screwing him over after working out tentative terms to deal for the 4th - "“Once the dust settled,” he said, “I turned around and someone said, ‘Jesus Christ, Joe!’ I had a grey suit on, and there were pools of water on both sides. My wife, who was 8 1/2 months pregnant at the time, was gathered with some other people’s family members in the cafeteria, and I didn’t even go out and see her for awhile. I thought, ‘I better just stay in here and hydrate.’" -

NFL Draft 2022 Fourth to Seventh Round Discussion Thread

It always amazes me the last day all networks go to interviews, meaningless discussion and ignore most of the picks. Literally the reason people are watching is to see what the picks are. And to say well, they don't have film on all of them - then nfln goes to stump the truck to shove in your face they can find film on any ridiculous college player you can think of - but we won't show you when they get drafted! -
