What I care about is continuity and keeping Josh comfortable. The new OC needs to understand it is not about him or his scheme, it is about Josh and making/keeping him successful. If I'm McD the requirement for the new OC is work with Josh and implement the things he is most comfortable with

My son has a Devin Singletary rookie card (he bought it as a lark/joke when we were going through the market in Charleston Devin's rookie year and there was a card stand) Somewhere in my house are the Topps football cards my brother and I collected as kiids. There are almost complete sets from 1970-1973 with tons of duplicates - one set is only missing Frenchy Fuqua (I always remembered him as the one player who made our set incomplete). They were in my Dad's house for years - I lifted them a few years ago afraid he would throw them out as he was slowly cleaning out his house (don't tell my brother - they were always sitting there as a kind of demilitarized card zone). There's also a bunch of hockey cards - we mostly only kept the Sabres ones - and ABA cards!. I've never actually gone through them to see if there are any valuable ones. Fun side note - my Dad has a baseball signed by Babe Ruth. When he was a kid he and one of his brothers were cleaning out someone's garage and they found two balls - the Babe Ruth one and one signed by members of the old Cardinals Gashouse Gang. His brother took the Gashouse Gang one. When I was growing up it was on the piano in our living room for years. In retrospect that wasn't the best thing for it - it got faded over the years. He has it put away somewhere now.

It's interesting, I was thinking this week how I felt sooooo bad for Allen as a person after the loss (after feeling sorry for myself of course) - I've never felt that kind of emotional sympathy for a player just based on losing. It's kind of crazy how much the way he plays and his whole attitude/approach makes you root for him personally - he deserved so much better this game. Such a damn shame

Line someone up on Kelce - don't tackle him, but run wth him and grab his jersey or get your arm around him right away (I say hold Kelce vs Hill b/c chance that Hill blows past you before you can even get hands on him). Then it is a regular 5 yd penalty and time goes off clock. If for some reason they don't call it, you've taken Kelce out of the play (and let's assume you've double-teamed Hill legitimately as well). If they call it you're potentially looking at 1st down from the 30 with 7-8 secs left. OMG just thinking about this is making me nauseous again

And yet on one of the shows this AM I heard "Has never won an away playoff game" - just goes to show how stupid so many of those kinds of lazy "stats" are - the loss had nothing to do with him, and his brilliance at the end of the game which *should have* won it will be lost in the L over time

The worst is thinking what could have been this AM - basking in the coverage, thinking about the AFCG in Bufalo this weekend, favorites for going on to SB *sigh* And it also hits you to think (if all goes well) will be another year of your life to be back at this position

My last words before the musical city miracle play to my wife were "We need to cover the kick". Today it was "there's still 13 seconds left". For real I wasn't even really celebrating the TD for more than a few secs before my mind went to dread calculating if/how we could still lose. After the game my 24 yr old son said he's always known that's how I process the end of close games - and this one really put him in that mindset. He was taking it tough and I said yeah imagine going through this and music city miracle and wide right and all the others. In the end though, through all the years, I know there's been a lot of joy to go along with the disappointment. This one was next level though - just unbelievable to play that last minute of regulation back in your head. And the 13 seconds. Just unbelievable

100% after I saw 13 seconds my first instinct was dreading them somehow getting in FG range
