  1. Better weather
  2. Years and years ago I spent a night drinking w/ Matt Kofler - he was married at the time to a girl I went to HS with. I remember trying to be cool and not ask too many Bills questions - but it's also not like there were a lot of "glory days" stories to tell from his era .. He seemed a nice guy (RIP) I've told this story before: Years ago I went to Jimmy V charity golf tournament which was right next to where I lived, and James Lofton was in one of the groups. Things were winding down, and as I was headed out I saw Lofton on a tee. For some reason I got the great idea I was going to run home and get a camera (oh the days before cell phones) and get a picture with him. On the way I soon realized the distance was longer than I estimated, and I was not quite in the shape I thought I was. Not to mention it was Miami-Dolphin-visiting-sideline-hot that day. By the time I got back I was dying - could hardly breathe and sweating profusely. I stumbled toward Lofton and will never forget the look on his face when he saw this heaving, crazy-looking person drenched in sweat approaching. Barely able to breathe I blurted out "JamesisawyoucatchalotofballsatrichstadiumthoseweregreatdaysGoBiils!canigetapicture" and he accomodated me as one might accomodate an insane person while fearing for their life. He showed a lot of poise in that situation 😛
  3. The biggest thing about this throw was Diggs was the first option - to go through that progression first, see it's not open, then find Knox and so calmly just drop it in the bucket with the distance, margin, conditions - just ridiculous
  4. On Josh's TD run it loked like he fumbled, but was likely already in EZ - after watching the play again it was a lot closer than I thought - whether he crossed the line both with control of the ball and not already down by contact
  5. That comment didn't bother me as much as what followed - the "I would never put a player in harms way" BS. Such a disingenuous POS
  6. Whenever I think Canisius I still think
  7. This was an underrated great play in the sequence - for Josh to know exactly where to go to get the first and not score, and then to actually execute it with such a small margin for error and bodies everywhere - just a great play
  8. Yeah it's weird I've thought the same thing. Esp when it's just inches you fall forward into a gap - just look at Brady who has 1/100th the strength and athleticism of Josh, but has been automatic his whole career regardless what the OL was. Unfortunately against the Titans there was no gap where he went. Contrary to popular opinion, he didn't miss the sneak because he slipped or someone missed an assignment on the OL, he "slipped" after the Titans DT lined up in the exact gap they had run the sneak a number of times previous, and Dawkins had no chance to get any leverage to move the DT - he was already there and Josh ran right into him. It seems more art than science (or brute strngth) - get up, snap quick, and recognize and get low and lean forward into the right gap. No idea why they seem to have taken it out of the playbook.
  9. Will be cheering for a Chiefs loss - and Brady crying and getting the crap kicked out of him and throwing things on the sideline
  10. My wife may disagree on this point
  11. Josh Allen draft thread says hi
  12. Saw the same thing - and there was a guy there looked like he was consoling him. But then on the way into locker room he was happy and cheering and moving fine
  13. It's a benefit of having a QB that is one of the faces of the league - after decades of being on the other side of it, we can now be on the right side
  14. The run by Josh to get the first down but not score was crazy - such awareness of knowing exactly where to go and then actually get to that small area with such small margin, and do it in a pile of bodies
  15. And hear Josh > Lamar for MVP
  16. ONE SCORE GAME VICTORY!
  17. One of the bennies of Josh being one of the faces of the NFL now is getting calls to protect him
  18. What a recovery by Poyer - that's an All Pro play
  19. OMG just let them score and end this tragedy
  20. Saw this my first thought was Tim Settle got hurt 😛
