NYC people - my daughter lives in mid-lower east side - looks like Kelly's is her best bet for Bills bar near her? Fun story she texted me last night. She went to dinner with a friend that works on Wall Street- friend said she just started working on a project with a guy in Buffalo "Pegula - did you ever hear of him - owns the Buffalo Bills" 😛 -
Mafia descending on Miami, Phins fans not happy about it...
stevewin replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep thats it. When I went back (90s) there was another place used to go to all the time and when we pulled up they had closed and they were literally taking the letters of the bldg - now I can't remember the name of that either - was in a strip mall in boca - Mojo's maybe? Also Tom's ribs had graduated from a shack to a brick bldg - wasn't the same -

I lived in Delray and Boca during 4 separate internships I did in college in the mid 80's with IBM (remember when they were there?). In Delray there was a cool bar right on the beach we used to go to all the time can't remember the name - years later I took a trip to the area with my wife to check out all my old haunts - most of them gone. The neighborhood of the house I lived in Delray (couldn't tell you where now) had gone downhill - there were bars on all the windows. Had a good time in my time there. -
I met the Dads of both Brandin and Prince while in Charlotte for the preseason game

Micah to IR (out for the year per his agent)
stevewin replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wasn't thinking massive changes, just that it may affect their decisision making for going more for TDs and 4th downs instead of settling for FGs and punts -

I was thinking, at least in short term, this may have affect offensive philosphy to take a few more chances and score more points -
Do you have a problem with fans standing the entire game?
stevewin replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
If I bought beers for the idiots in front of us that I referred to earlier they probably would have chugged it and gave us the finger - or passed out before they finished - which in hindsight might have been a good strategy 😛 -
Geez - forgot Thurs is on Amazon now. Check guide - see NFL Football - go to game and it's - Miami/Baltimore

I get it - but there's also a difference between being in a whole section/level that is standing, and being the only ones in a section/area and impeding the people behind. Stand when others normally do for 3rd down stops etc, but also have some courtesy/awareness of what's going on around you the rest of the time. My Dad looks forward the whole year to when me and my brother (and now our sons) take him to a game. He will never want to give that up. I'm curious what the ADA seating is going to look like in the new stadium (when the renderings come out?) Last year we convinced my Dad to let us wheel him in cause he had an injury, but still sat in regular seats. The ADA options are limited at the current stadium, wondering if they'll be expanded -
Too bad Orton retired

It's not good for my 87 yr old Dad who doesn't want to stay home and can't stand the whole game. We stopped getting tickets in the lower bowl since standing moved from mostly an EZ thing to the whole thing. We get tix in the Club section now and have had pretty good luck - except for the 20-something drunk a-holes who were in front of us about 5 years ago and were the only people standing in the whole club level and were just doing it to piss off my Dad - eventually they got so drunk they got kicked out (if I ever was going to hit a girl it would have been then). We are in the Ceasar's Sports App Suite for the Pitt game - assuming standing won't be an issue there My absolute most hated sports fan guy (besides the idiot who tries to start the wave) is "Stand Up!" Guy - idiot who spends the entire game with his back to the game waving his hands "Stand Up! Stand Up!" - JFC just die -
Von said (multiple times) he doesn't know when we are going to blitz?

This - so much has been reported about how important Hyde and Poyer are to the young guys to get them in the right spots - now we will have young backups in there as well

Pretty sure the roof canvas was designed to confuse the wind - need to check the renderings

I think that (plus the eye candy) is exactly what worked so well. A moderator (with some football knowledge) keeps the show on track, instead of 4 'experts' trying to talk over each other. I still think the show was tons better with the original lineup, even with all the guests in Nate's chair it was better than now. To me Erdahl is fine but still tries way too hard to generate excitement/wackiness that just isn't there - its better when things appear natural. Just don't like Mccourty at all. To me he brings the whole thing down. I think 90% of the guests host in that chair before the new lineup was picked were such a better fit. That choice just mystifies me, just don't see what they saw in that guy as a fit for this show. The best shows IMO with this new lineup were when mccourtey was out with his appendix and O'Hara came in. It was like a breath of fresh air - so much better and so much more like the way it used to be

Not sure I'd put "not showering til Wednesday" and "refreshing" in the same sentence 😛 Have to admit at first I was a little put off by his "quirkiness" and the media adoration of him - but I've also found it hard to hate the guy. I do think the real test is going to be when they start losing - we'll see how the nerd act goes over both with fans/media and more importantly in the locker room then
