My brother has a friend with season tix who gets us single game tickets every year. This year - he talked to his rep who said there was a suite that was undergoing renovation at the time and I guess they hadn't gone on general sale yet, but he gave access to 5 seats for us. I actually was wondering myself how someone would normally get these. I didn't even realize these big suites existed til now.

My Dad has gotten a kick recently the last few years going downtown to the Casino to place small time bets on the Bills. Recently hasn't been able to drive so whenever me or my siblings are here he always wants us to drive him to the Casino to place his bets. Last time I was here I installed a betting app on his phone, but didn't get a chance to fully set it up (and the odds (pun intended) of him actually figuring out how to use it himself are not good). My brother and I came into town this weekend take him to the Steelers game with our sons. I remembered from this thread the same game parlay w/ Draft Kings, and had my son install and set up an account for my Dad on his phone in the car on the way to the game. Before the game we had a lot of fun with him setting up a bunch of small same game parlays. During the game we had a blast following the bets - my Dad was like a little kid. We had one 10 leg parlay that only needed Singletary to score to win - with the ball at the one and Singeltary in the backfield we knew that was the last chance since he wouldn't play after that series - then the shovel pass. Would have paid out a few hundred if they just got under center and punched it in with Singletary (my father was cursing Dorsey for that lol) - but was worth the fun roooting for it til the end. Overall we came out ahead like 30 bucks. One irony is that we had tickets in the new Caesar's Sportsbook Lounge suite. I guess that they have to wait for legislaton to pass before actual on-site betting is allowed there - but they have the layout and signage all ready. Was a cool but for sure different way to watch the game.

Touched on this after the referenced post - the first chart is win rate any/all rushes - the list after it excludes stunts/blitzes. One logical conculsion is Von gets a lot of his wins when we are stunting/blitzing. As Stank pointed out - these also come from two different places, so who knows how different their accuracy/criteria is - but if they are anything close that to me would be the takeaway
-
Yeah, it just jumps out that Von is so almost off-the-chart high in the first chart for (any) pass rush wins - then isn't even in the top 6 of list that excludes blitzes/stunts

Amazon/NFL may be onto something "Train-Wreck NFL - You Can't Take Your Eyes Away"

Funny I was thinking last night maybe everyone was wrong and Hackett was actually a genius for taking the ball out of Russ's hands for a 64 yd fg 😛
-
Interesting. From the two charts you posted then, a large number of Von's pass rush win rate comes from when we blitz/stunt?

Sherman still salty about the SB lol

Al better hope he doesn't get caught on a hot mic - you just know he's saying "wtf is this crap" off air

Years and years ago I spent a night drinking w/ Matt Kofler - he was married at the time to a girl I went to HS with. I remember trying to be cool and not ask too many Bills questions - but it's also not like there were a lot of "glory days" stories to tell from his era .. He seemed a nice guy (RIP) I've told this story before: Years ago I went to Jimmy V charity golf tournament which was right next to where I lived, and James Lofton was in one of the groups. Things were winding down, and as I was headed out I saw Lofton on a tee. For some reason I got the great idea I was going to run home and get a camera (oh the days before cell phones) and get a picture with him. On the way I soon realized the distance was longer than I estimated, and I was not quite in the shape I thought I was. Not to mention it was Miami-Dolphin-visiting-sideline-hot that day. By the time I got back I was dying - could hardly breathe and sweating profusely. I stumbled toward Lofton and will never forget the look on his face when he saw this heaving, crazy-looking person drenched in sweat approaching. Barely able to breathe I blurted out "JamesisawyoucatchalotofballsatrichstadiumthoseweregreatdaysGoBiils!canigetapicture" and he accomodated me as one might accomodate an insane person while fearing for their life. He showed a lot of poise in that situation 😛

This throw is so good, it deserves its own thread
stevewin replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
The biggest thing about this throw was Diggs was the first option - to go through that progression first, see it's not open, then find Knox and so calmly just drop it in the bucket with the distance, margin, conditions - just ridiculous -
Singletary was close to fumbling with seconds remaining
stevewin replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
On Josh's TD run it loked like he fumbled, but was likely already in EZ - after watching the play again it was a lot closer than I thought - whether he crossed the line both with control of the ball and not already down by contact -

That comment didn't bother me as much as what followed - the "I would never put a player in harms way" BS. Such a disingenuous POS

Davis Webb to Start for the Giants on Sunday
stevewin replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Whenever I think Canisius I still think -
This was an underrated great play in the sequence - for Josh to know exactly where to go to get the first and not score, and then to actually execute it with such a small margin for error and bodies everywhere - just a great play
