  1. Stay classy Cheaters
  2. I laugh at the excuses for Jones this year for his "regression" like he used to be good. He's exactly the same limited mediocre game manager (at best) - last year just had more opportunities for 5 yd passes. I honestly can't believe anyone ever thought or still thinks he is a good QB
  3. As much as I hate McDaniels I'll be rooting for the POS today. Funny - I saw one of my friends from HS at a reunion this summer, he has always been a huge Raider fan - I explained my distaste for their HC hire. He had faith. Yesterday out of nowhere he texts me "I hate josh 🐍 McDaniels I could give u a million examples"
  4. Kim Pegula as well
  5. From when Hendrickson launched into him
  6. Feel like this could be a beatdown of epic proportions now
  7. Was good (but surprising) to see Josh with nothing on his elbow Mon. Seems like it will probably continue to be listed on the injury report for a while even as it seems to be improving
  8. I'll try Mac Jones is a crappy QB and a dirty POS
  9. I would be all for signing McCourty and not even playing him if it means getting him off GMFB
  10. That was Ryan Clark - after he almost died from "splenic infarction that required the removal of his spleen and gallbladder" The most interesting part when he relayed the story last night was he said after all the prep and bringing his people with him and readiness/willingness to fight to play, it was actually a relief when Tomlin shut it down. He realized then he needed someone like Tomlin who wasn't so emotionally close to it to look out for his welfare and make the right decision for him.
  11. Ryan Clark was especially good IMO- being put on the spot and speaking from experience and from the heart and staying in lanes to not speculate or say anything out of bounds. Thought SVP did a very good job as well
  12. It was awkward to incredible it did not appear the league was in contact with ESPN at all during the time he was injured to when they were given the 'official statement', at the same time the PA announcer was. All they could do was say 'we are still waiting for word from the league' and be careful not to wrongly speculate- which basically meant they really couldn't offer any meaningful information on what was going on. Granted the league had its hands full trying to assess what was going on and make decisions, but it is crazy they did not appear to communicate at all with the network. They didn't have to give details/specifics, but could have offered some info along the way "we are currently looking into options" "our primary concern is the player" etc instead of the broadcast having no official messages/information to send at all. Failure to communicate indeed
  13. One thing I noticed watching the replay was when Hamlin went down - the only player to see it completely from standing to collapse was Dane Jackson - who immediately ran over to him while other players either missed the fall entirely or turned only after he hit the ground. It was striking to see that it was Jackson - who is like a brother to Hamlin (grew up in same town and played at Pitt together) - who was the one person on the field to see it all and be the first one to his side.
  14. I replayed it multiple times and it did not look like he got hit in the throat to me. Also - when he stood up, he did not put his hands to his throat at all, which is what you would assume would be an instinctive reaction if you were hit there and couldn't breathe
  15. I imagine that Kelly and Nina are not prepared for 1M+ in sudden funds
  16. I know there are some people here who do it for a living - but I can say the one time I saw real CPR being performed on someone it was brutal to see - I had to turn away. I can only imagine the shock of also seeing AED being used.
  17. Would be nice for NFL to give their broadcast partner some official word
  18. Emotions are likely pretty high in the locker room now - I imagine there are some who might be expressing that they don't want to go back out there at this point - really don't see how they play this
  19. Yeah when it happened I googled 'hit to chest cardiac arrest' and that is what came up. Seems possible - when you see the play he did take a helmet to the chest - and if they did use AED then it also fits
  20. That sounds ike a worst case scenario
  21. Was thinking the same thing. And one of the 'reckless' throws was one he meant to just dump in the dirt and got away from him (a terrible throw for sure - but the intent was the oposite of reckless). And at least Rex stood up and said Burrow only has one less - and of course the graphic of most ints shows Josh with a bunch of terrible QBs, but stops at 13 so it doesn't show Burrow and Mahomes both with 12 smh The other thing I HATE is now the narrative Josh is 0-3 on the road in playoffs - when it's so misleading to count last year as a loss for him - just a garbage stat
  22. Hope someone shows QB to Josh before game tonight
  23. In contrast this would be Mac Jones with the same injury
