Is anyone else worried about our D
shadowdog69 replied to shadowdog69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope ur right, but he only took half the snaps because his only job was to stop the run. If the team is passing then there was not much point in putting him out there. I hope ur right about Edwards and/or Anderson!! -
We've got some quick linebackers and obviously one of the best secondary in the league, but with Williams gone, I'm worried about our defence against the run. I say we're one Sam Adams injury away from a disaster against the run. I don't have time to look up the exact stats but I believe that was the worst part of our defence last year and now we've lost a key guy that will probably show a bigger impact then everyone thinks. Hope I'm wrong.

Ur defence can never be too good!!

might move to london, Ontario
shadowdog69 replied to Hardy Pyle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hey, I live in Guelph as I attend the University there. It's only about a half hour drive away. I've been to London on several occasions and believe me, it's one of the nicest cities i've ever been too. It's a very clean city with nice parks and a great place to raise a family. On a side note, if u like junior hockey then your going to the right place. London is ripping up the OHL. It also really is close to Buffalo, maybe a two hour drive. -

WOW, nice prediction bud. Minny has absolutly no D. I mean the team was 8-8 common now, they lost to arizona in an important game!! Atlanta's overrated as well. -
Most overlooked off-season priority
shadowdog69 replied to d_wag's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I say sign him soon. I hated him all season long up till the last game. After seeing him blow the play in the Jacksonville game. Remember the Jags had 4th and very long, and stupid Clemants went for the pick instead of knocking the ball down?! Hated him all year, but he redeemed himself in the last game for the pick off and the score! Sign him. -

Definetly New England, I wouldn't bet agianst that coaching staff!! They're definetly playing, and beating philly. Who honestly thinks Atlanta can knock off philly?? Ya ok, Owens is out, that means they only have 7 pro bowlers left on the team I really don't think Atlanta is all that good, look how many games they won by only a couple points, and they're playing in the NFC!!!! -
What about the terrible play calling sunday?
shadowdog69 replied to shadowdog69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well then i'll refuse to believe our top recievers couldn't get open against a second and third string secondary -
What about the terrible play calling sunday?
shadowdog69 replied to shadowdog69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Really?? I know i was furious during the game so i might have forgot, but i don't remember any long bomb passes. Dump off dump off, that's all i saw. Drew was getting or should have been picked off with his short passes, might as well go long. -

Terrible terrible calling from Clemants!! Did u see the long bomb to Evans late in the game that led to the late TD? I was calling for that all game!! We should have aired it out early and make the pit Defence respect the long ball!! Not a single long pass until late in the game?! Unbelievable! Ya, i'm still pissed, and think that Lindell and other guys were the problem. But common, Evans has been solid game after game this year, why was there only 1 bloody pass thrown to him!! I've seen him turn games around...i.e miami, New Jets games. Wow, good play calling from upstairs!! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: -
How to go from pretender to contender

How about a new kicker?? -
We got the right Defence and special teams!!

How can anyone be pessimistic in a time like this? Buffalo has won all these games in a row and actually has a chance at the playoffs, yet i still read negative posts!! What a weekend they had....Jacksonville unbelievably got shut out, Baltimore lost, the Jets lost, even Monday night football had the Rams winning. Personally, I'm glad that game is in St.Louis on Sunday, and I think the Rams have a shot at winning it. Denver isn't really that good, so if we pray that Manning stays in for the first half, I think Indy should beat them! Just want to thank everyone for their great posts this year, and I know I'm still happy, even if we don't get in.

MORT talks to Dungy this afternoon
shadowdog69 replied to CentralVaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think he said the whole game, but it did sound promising. I believe them, but i wouldn't count on the whole game. Hopefully they can rip them apart after the first half -
I like Bulger right now, the running game looks great, and the defence is doing what it should do against the backups. I know their playing philly's second teams but still, the rams need this win next week bad, and this team is rolling!!
-
Let's go St.Louis Defence, burn these guys!!
-
The offense continues to drive for Rams......hopefully they'll have this much sucess next week!!
-
I think the Jests r loving this defensive stance by the rams.....terrible!! 7-7

Out Here In Denver The Media is Talking

I totally agree, but anything can happen in football!! The Houston Texans did just beat Jacksonville!! Look how bad the Jags needed this game. -
Out Here In Denver The Media is Talking
shadowdog69 replied to BenchBledsoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope that the media keeps it up and the bronco's half azz it, cuz i could see them losing still! I'm sure there will be some rotations, and these second string guys r gonna try to impress for a starting position. I hope Denver thinks they've got it all wraped up, cuz i'm not too sure. -
I've heard some negative talk bout the bills chances of making the playoffs so i thought about all the positives of their chances. Jax - They're home this week against Houston, but the texans did knock Jacksonville off earlier in the season. Next week they're on the road in Oakland, which beat Denver earlier this year, and lost to San Diego by less than a touch down. In the black hole, last game of the year, this team should show up. Sure it would've been nice if Green Bay beat them, but I can still see one upset here. Baltimore - They're in Pittsburg this week. With Pit having the chance to lock up first place in the AFC, I think the steelers should come out flying, and not want to have to win in Buffalo the last week to seal first place. Let's hope that happens, because the last week they r home to Miami. Although the dolphins have had a terrible year, they r playing better latly and beat New England Monday night. I'm sure Miami will still play hard. Hopefully Pit will take care of them sunday. Denver - Talk about a team falling a part. I think even at home to a disapointing Tenesee team there could be trouble. Billy Volek will light up that secondary. He's auditioning for a starting job. The last week they're in Indy. Although Indy may have not much to play for, at home, they're still gonna come and play hard. Hopefully Denver keeps sliding. NY Jets - I still don't think they're in yet. Since Buffalo has the tie breaker, i could see new york lose out. First they're home to New England, which is always tough. But the Pats just lost to Miami and should take it out on the Jets. Remember, New England isn't gaurenteed that bye yet. The last week, they're on the road in St.Louis who i know just lost to arizona. But if they're fighting for their playoff lives and is at home, then the right St. Louis team will hopefully show up. Buffalo - We've got San Fran, who we can't overlook, but obviously should beat. If Pitts wins in Baltimore, then they should be resting most of their starters in Buffalo on the final week. Cheers for a chance at the playoffs at Christmas!!

He's gone down like 4 times now since being the starter, so I'm quite used to it, as everytime he's come back in the game.
-
I donno, the TD benefits are starting to pay off. I really honestly believe he is an excellent GM

My bad, i meant to say safety
