Game Week: Week 15 Carolina Panthers at Bills thread
turftoe replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
This should help our offense. Brown is a key player on their defensive line. -
Is this finally the year we make a big push for offense?

Remember this Bills’ draft pick? Bills last monstrosity -

Agree. No doubt that the OL gets addressed this off season, especially guard and center. Josh Allen is a hair slower on his reads and needs that extra second in the pocket. Give him his amount of time and he will light it up. If he is pressured, he makes some some bad throws and gets happy feet. A lot of the pressure comes up the middle. Fixing this is priority #1. -
Agree. He really needs a good OL to give him that extra second or so. Daboll needs to adjust better and see that he doesn’t have that kind of time. OL has to be priority #1 this off season, especially the interior. I think Morse, Ford, Williams are all gone. It will be almost like KCs rebuild this past draft.

Calling all scouts…. 2022 OL prospects

Bull. I’ve worried about this line all year. I felt this way before today.
-
Morse is too small and will probably be gone after this year. I have nothing against Boogie Basham but when that pick came around in round 2, I was hoping the bills would take Creed Humphrey. He went to the Chiefs right after that. The inside of our line isn’t very good.
-
He was rattled today. He is kind of slow eyed as a QB and needs more time than most. He didn’t have that today.

I think Bean dropped the ball at the trade deadline.

Blue helmets? Either a marketing gimmick or a real thing.

We currently have the best looking helmet ever. Period. -

Broncos starting OT Ja’wuan James tears his Achilles
turftoe replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let me guess...he smiles and twirls his pen? Not sure I would say we have a lot of OTs. We have more Gs than OTs. Denver does have a surplus of CBs, so it would be worth a call. -
Bills trade pick #174 to HOU for two 6th round picks
turftoe replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the Bills board got nearly wiped out just before the pick so the traded down. The Iowa WR Smith Marsette, and DT Davion Nixon and also Ohio State CB Shaun Wade went just before that. I really think they liked the Iowa WR. -
He better get ahead of Dallas at 44. I watched a lot of the Cowboys Draft Show the past couple of months. It includes Dane Brugler and Bucky Brooks, among others. Dallas will definitely pick one at 44, if they don't move up to get one. Sounded like they liked Samuel a lot. Could also see Joseph going there, high upside but lower floor.

I would rather try to trade for Christian McCaffrey. Maybe Carolina would like to trade up from number 39 to number 30 and we add a 5th this year and a 2nd round next year + Singletary. Just a thought. This way, we would still have 2- 2nd round picks and a 3rd rounder to add some talent like an edge rusher, CB, and OL. -
I'm hoping the Beane takes the patient approach and either picks at 30 or trades down. Like you, I predict that he trades up with Indy at 21 giving away at least our 3rd rounders this year and next. Indy really values picks on day 2 and they currently have no 3rd rounder. Indy will pick a left OT with their first pick, Dillon Radunz. That's my bold prediction.

Jeff Legwold top 100 — Zach Wilson at 24

BTW, He had Justin Herbert at #38 last year. Go figure. 2020 Legwold rankings -

Jeff Legwold is a big time Broncos fan. Do you think there could be a motive to downplay some of the top QB prospects? Denver is trying hard to move up to get one. Just saying....
