Joe D. is obviously very opinionated, but I don't think he's shedding tears for himself. I think he sees alot of old vets that are having big time physical problems especially dealing with concussions and doesn't see the league or the Brees's stepping to the plate to help out.
Brady is a little b@#ch. Eli Manning got the crap knocked out of him in the Championship game, but you didn't see him staring down the ref as the Queen does every time a defensive player lays a finger on him for a competitive advantage. If Kelly behaved as Brady does, I would have been embarrassed to be a Bills fan.
The writer says Irsay has class!!!??? How about the class he showed in stealing FA Will Wolford from the Bills years ago with the poison pill contract offer. Real classy!! Say what you will about Polian and his not being nice, but Irsay is a d*ck.
You're right. If we were 8-5 we would still suck and wouldn't as excited about what REALLY matters--the NFL DRAFT!!!! WOO HOO!!! The draft is like my daughter's kindergarten cheerleading team. At the end, everybody's a winner and gets a trophy. It isn't until years down the road that a girl realizes she is a crappy cheerleader or, in the Bills case, you drafted a bunch of stiffs. BRING ON THE DRAFT!!!
Season's over. We'll be 5-11 or 6-10. It should be good enough for a top ten pick!!! THIS is when the real fun for the Bills fans starts!!! This is when our vivid imaginations come into play and reality is suspended until the season starts.
If Big Ted qualifies, then Lee Evans will after he has a Pro Bowl season this year!! Yeah, yeah, I want to move on, but I'm sick of the Bills front office getting schooled by an organization that knows what the hell it is doing.
I'll give you a Hallelujah!!! They drafted the best football PLAYER and didn't outsmart themselves by choosing the player that projects best into their "System."
Unfortunately, I think we may take a so-called "franchise quarterback" with our pick because of Ralph(there are very few f'ing "franchise quarterbacks" in the whole NFL, yet we are to believe that there are several in one draft!!! )
1. Ralph said after the season that finding a qb was a priority.
2. Ralph is in the war room during the draft and involved in the decision making process.
3. If you were Nix or Chan, would you want to tell your boss that Newton or Gabbert isn't worth it and chance them succeeding with another team?
List loses all credibility when it claims TWO wide receivers will become "one of the premier players at his position" as a rookie. Rookie WR's rarely are that great their first year.
I've watched Luck and I have to disagree with all the hype. He doesn't have any zip on his passes or great accuracy. He just seems to loft his deep ball to a wide open receiver deep which is frequent or dump it in the flat. When he's pressured, he makes bad decisions which could easily be int's. I think he's great when he has to run and he seems to have confidence of a leader, but other than that I just don't see it.
Somebody tell me where I'm wrong.
Scouts said Maybin was a 3-4 year project (which in itself makes it a horrible first round pick for which my remote control paid the ultimate price). So, why should we expect more than what we've seen? He's one year and six games into his career and people want to cut him. He's struggling, but why is this a surprise? He still has another two to three years to be "NFL ready." Just saying...
