  1. In this league and college as well as the Buckeyes found out last night. I was having a deja vu for a while today, but fortunately the Bills-Texans aren't evenly matched teams as OSU-Texas. With every fg the Bucks made, I felt they were sinking in quick sand.
  2. Right. To me that was the play of the game for the o-line.
  3. ...and taking Clarett in the third round.
  4. Are you talking about the Bledsoe typically well engineered screen pass that Burger King intercepted and returned? Man, he sucks!!!
  5. Don't get me wrong, I am happy as schnitt about the win. But, while the offense is much better with JP at qb, the Bills still stall in the red zone. Once they stalled because of Gandy's holding, but the others were the result of the o-line not being able to drive the defense off the ball and open holes. I just hope the o-line gels and gets better as the season progresses.
  6. You gotta give them a little more credit. In pass protection, there were times that JP had all day to throw. I haven't seen anything like it from a Bills o-line in ten years. I'll agree that their rush blocking wasn't great.
  7. It's funny how Drew-bashing gets under the skin of certain people. It's almost tradition for fans to root against their former player's teams. Plus, Drew is such a pu%&y.
  8. It looks like I spoke to soon.
  9. Why can't we run the ball? Willis is 7-12!!! (Not doomed, everything else is great)
  10. It's a Patsies pep rally.
  11. Who the hell is this p.o.s. anyway. Why does the NFL have this moron on their pre-game. This is why I don't watch that over-commercialized, idiot-fest of a show. Just play the game!!!
  12. No doubt about it.
  13. It's been a while since I've had one, but do they still have the Chicken A-la-King(blah!!)
  14. I think that the reason many people ridicule such posts isn't that they're negative, but they hardly represent the critical thinking expected from educated fans. To jump from "Clements won't play" to "The Bills don't have a chance to beat the Texans." is a giant leap not worthy of a serious response.
  15. We're doomed!!!! The Texans are lethal!!!!
  16. Let's not excite the libs on this board who idolize jackoffs like him.
  17. I agree and JP IS a tough kid. He understands that if he doesn't produce, this team will turn to option 2 and he'll work to get better. Months ago, he said he was disappointed that he was handed the job and didn't compete to win the job. He also has said that he wants to be the best qb ever. He is not a short-sighted guy. I haven't let a few preseason games get me down on JP. However, if through the first few games, JP is lplaying poor and the team is losing, the Bills shouldn't hesitate to pull him.
  18. Yeah, Mexico, we understand you have some experience with disease.
  19. I hope so, then Drew will have one less excuse. Poor Drew will be forced to come up with some new ones.
  20. Yeah, right. Dan Rather TRIED to be unbiased, but just couldn't fight the temptation.
  21. I've been wondering the same thing. Maybe that's going to be his m.o. , not taking any chances and not losing the game. I hope not or it will be a long season for Willis.
  22. After seeing the stats and play-by-play report., I expected to see a horrific performance by the o-line. But, many of the negative plays were because of breakdowns in blocking on the part of backs or receivers.
  23. True, but I don't expect Shelton to pancake him. Just be able to get a body on him or at least get in his way to delay him for a half-second. I'm not too concerned. Shelton has gotten the job done in the past and it is only preseason.
  24. I played the game back on TIVO and the line wasn't doing too bad in holding their blocks for McGahee, but Shelton wasn't even a speed bump when isolated against Urlachr. At least two times, Shelton's missed blocks resulted in losses.
