who is Michael Schumacher?
-
cherry, cinnimon, strawberry... tuttifrutti is good too
-
the playing field is 50 yrds... you can attempt a FG from your own endzone... which is where he hit his 56 yrder from. 56 yards is hard in the NFL with 10ft high and 18.5 feet wide... he made his 15 feet high and 9 ft wide WOW, that probably would have been good from 65+ in the NFL but let's all remember... they play indoors with no elements and are only being rushed by like 7 guys... you never know....

since I don't like doritos, it's an easy one for me....

(OT) Can the Angels make up their mind?
MikeG replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
no we are the New York Bills of Buffalo in Orchard Park... if we market ourselves this way, we'll get a larger audience because we are the only team that plays in the state of NY... ridiculous -
i went to a monday night game by myself, against Cinci... back in '91. We won and Metzallars had a long TD... it was really fun. I met a few people and hung out before the game and then just made the long drive back to college after the game.. but it was fun.

Would anyone care if the NHL folded
MikeG replied to Nick in RaChaCha's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i would care. I love hockey and miss it greatly. BUT if the NHL folding makes a "new" league start up with same teams and different rules and stuff... I'd be all for it. I really don't care if it's called the NHL, I just want professional hockey and I want the Sabres (in blue and gold would be best) to be a part of it. -
Colin SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! his show is HORRIBLE! words can not express how bad his show is. I can't believe they took off Tony Kornheiser, the best radio show on radio, for this bum. Mr. Tony was AWESOME and I would pay to listen to his show again... ESPN radio just isn't the same without Mr. Tony. Colin sucked soooooo bad they took him off in Pittsburgh and put on two local guys who are just as bad at cowherd, needless to say I don't listen to ESPN radio at all during 10-1 anymore.

At least the Sabres are undefeated . . . .

that proposal from the players was BS and the owners, rightfully so, turned it down. If they accepted it, we'd be in the same place within 5 years. The players need to realize they are not the NFL, NBA or MLB. Hockey is a smaller sport and the general public's entertainment $ will not support huge salaries. If they get a hard salary cap, costs go down and ticket prices go down, the NHL depends on ticket sales for most of it's revenue. Other leagues don't depend on tickets soooo much, other leagues have TV deals to get most of their money... NHL isn't like that at all. The higher paid players will have to learn to get by on a measely 3-4 million a year or less instead of 7-10 million. Getting your salary cut to a few million doesn't make me feel bad for you, when the other option is don't play at all and make no money. The owners created this problem years ago, and the expansion of the league hurt it as well, but it MUST be corrected NOW. The NHL will cease to exist if the problem isn't corrected, I also think that at least 3-6 teams need to be dissolved to make the league stronger as well. when ticket prices go down and the league is more stable and more competitive, watch the fans show up. when ticket prices go down to $5-$70 per seat, instead of $12-$155, in a small market like Buffalo and Pittsburgh, the fans will show up BIGTIME, especially when they have a chance of winning and keeping some good players -
Keaton was the best Batman cast out of those movies.... would have liked to see a suit that let Batman turned his head though, and then theres....oh, I could go on and on about the "bad" things about all of them, but many of them you know and the things you don't realize will be lost unless you are a comic fan... so I won't... is anyone a comic fan here? collect any? anything?

charlie and the chocolate factory isn't supposed to be a re-make... it is it's own movie, the bad part is that SO many people like the original (myself included), that people will compare it to that version and may not like it. As for the comments about the BATMAN movies... Burton's first version (1989) was the best of the Batman movies but in NO WAY does that make it a great version of Batman. There are many aspects to that movie that are great, but many are horrible and are NOT true to the comics at all. The new Batman movie, BATMAN BEGINS, looks to be a good version, although I'm sure there will be many aspects that miss the mark. BUT I can't wait for BATMAN BEGINS... if you want to see a good version of BATMAN on "film" find the movie short called BATMAN: DEAD END... many "fan" films are better than the crap hollywood is churning out... go to theforce.net fan films (non-star wars) to check out some of them... or superherohype.com to find links to them.

OT- Recommend Web Host for Small Business?
MikeG replied to NorCal Aaron's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
lunarpages.com is SUPER cheap and SUPER great!!! I have my personal website with them and the company I work for just changed to them in July and we saved about $400 a year and are now getting WAY more "extras". the cheapest plan is $7.95 a month and you won't believe all the stuff you get for that LOW price. check it out. there are a few others that are good too... compare, don't just look at one or two... get at least 5 (if not more) options and compare. -

(OT) Anyone Fans Of Last Comic Standing?
MikeG replied to R. Rich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LOVED the show and liked Alonzo and Jay, Gary had his moments... but my favorite is John Heffron. I would have loved to see them live, hopefully they added some new stuff to their sets, since I saw every show of all three seasons of the show... but I'd still love to hear all the old stuff too. Glad you got to see them and had a good time... -
