KC was down 10-0 against the 9ers twice and down against the Eagles the last time they played. Philly has to keep pressure on Mahomes, they’ll come alive at some point.

Better DL and DB play. Our LBs are fine.

Eagles rebuilt their defense in like 2 drafts.

Yeah, if it was a called run, you’d have lineman blocking downfield. Still, 1st and 15 is better than 2nd and 12.

Chiefs fans: hE wAsN’T Offside!

Chiefs already have the same number of punts in the 1st Q than they had against the Bills in the entire game.

Hurts squats 600 pounds.

Dejean or McConkey to the Bills at #33 in a redraft.

Every call is justified if it’s in their favor. If the same call was made against KC on 4th down they’d be livid.

Deebo Samuel Granted Permission to Seek Trade
Brand J replied to PauleeeWalnuts's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nope, always hurt. Curtis Samuel was deemed “Deebo-lite” and made minimal impact aside from the KC regular season game. -

Bills Hire Ryan Nielsen Senior Defensive Assistant.
Brand J replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
The reason those numbers stuck in my mind, all the way to being able to recall 6-11 against zone, was that it totally caught me by surprise. I’ve been wanting the Bills to run man more often and bring more pressure, so when it was assessed they ran man 43% of the time against the Chiefs and Ravens and the result was that poor, it was one of those “careful what you wish for” moments for me. We need to overhaul our slow footed secondary and get a difference maker on the line of scrimmage. Do those two things and the shift in performance will be drastic whether we run man or zone, I think. -

I remember listening, but you’ve got it backwards. Against the Bills, Mahomes was much better against man (almost near perfect) than zone (something like 6-11 for modest yards). -
Dalton Kincaid- why so underwhelming this season?
Brand J replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
You’d think Kincaid would have better instincts with the ball in his hand too. After he caught that pass, if he gave a little jab step to the left to get the defender moving that way, he could’ve EASILY gotten the first if he took it wide to the sideline instead of cutting it up inside. Truthfully, he would’ve got the first if he just went wide without the jab step, that deke move would’ve been to make that particular defender a total non factor which would’ve resulted in a much bigger play. Laporta probably makes that first down and probably that catch on 4th down. -
Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season

It’s called when it’s hung onto, not when it’s grabbed and let go a second later. Our own Benford gets away with this all the time. -

If I recall, Bradberry also said he tugged on the jersey because the officials had been letting them play all game, but in that critical instance they called him for it. That’s the very definition of inconsistent. That sort of tug happens all the time with DBs and is rarely called. Do you disagree? To call it in that moment, knowing full well the ramifications of the penalty on a 3rd and 9, it was just a disgusting end to a highly competitive SB. If it happened in the Bills favor I’d laugh and say “I’ll take it!” knowing it’s a call that shouldn’t have been made. As officials, they should’ve let them play, call a foul if it’s egregious and has to be called, don’t call something ticky tack that decides the game. People get upset when inconsistencies and inaccuracies tend to favor one team. That’s the crux of the hate. Except there’s tons of evidence out there to the contrary, most notably how their offensive line gets away with continuous holds. Not during the regular season, they’re called for it then, but in the postseason? They still play the way they’re accustomed to playing, but the refs have swallowed their whistles. -

I don’t think so. The evidence has to be there to outrage folks. If it’s a SB where calls are right, balls are spotted correctly, and hardly any flags are thrown - on both sides - then there can’t be much complaining about officiating. The better team won. If it’s another SB where a crucial call - a tug on a jersey - on an overthrown ball gifts KC a whole new set of first downs and the ability to run out the clock and kick a game winning FG, you can believe there will be complaints. That exact situation has already happened. -

And it’s funny because all that’s needed to reverse the narrative is not to have seemingly every single call go their way in a crucial situation. That’s it. -
I would gladly return to a time without Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Only Fans, Tik Tok, Snapchat, and other derivatives (although I loved Myspace). I miss the days where “content creator” wasn’t a full time job, online prostitution didn’t exist (at least in its current form), online bullying wasn’t possible, and AI deepfakes & mass misinformation weren’t spreading like wildfires. Definitely a different world than it was in the year 2000.

Brand J replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Marino said on a locked on podcast that Kincaid received the highest percentage of off target throws by any TE in the NFL. For whatever reason, he and Josh just never got the chemistry down, despite all the reports out of camp that Kincaid was killing it. Didn’t like trading up for a TE when it happened and I hate it even more now with the benefit of hindsight. Should’ve signed Gesicki, kept our 1st and 4th round draft picks and selected another player. -
I thought they were at one point. Aside from being golfing buddies and Allen introducing Brady to his father, when asked which QB he liked to win the next SB not named Mahomes, Brady immediately said Allen. Maybe some of that chumminess went out when they hopped on zoom together and Allen was a bit dismissive of Brady’s advice…
-
Surprising that Allen’s good friend Tom Brady voted Lamar MVP. I’m the type who would forever hold that against Brady, Allen’s a better man than me 😅

Forgot how many wanted Erik Armstead during the offseason last year. He was another bust of a signing for Jacksonville, 3 years $51M for 2 sacks and one start all year. Woof.

Is this the first time the NFL MVP wasn’t top 5 in offensive or defensive player of the year voting?
