  1. That’s the main complaint I see as I watch him run. He doesn’t juke defenders out of their shoes, nor does anyone slide off an attempted tackle. Basically if he’s touched he’s going down. With that said, he wasn’t the reason for the L tonight, but a Jonathan Taylor, Breece Hall, or Saquon Barkley type of back with Cook’s speed would be invaluable.
  2. I wanted the Bills to beat the Jets at full strength with Rodgers in there, but they would have blown us out if Allen’s play remained the same.
  3. Allen can’t be the reason his team loses the game. He just can’t. As a QB in his 6th year, with all the physical tools in the world, his mental game is behind the other top QBs and even Tua and I don’t think there’s any debating that. His floor is the basement and it doesn’t look like it’ll ever become the first floor. He’s just not reading the field as well as he needs to and no offensive coordinator can account for or overcome that. Not even the great Andy Reid. I don’t know what the answer is, but this team will never win a Super Bowl if he’s the reason for losses.
  4. T Woolen was a genetic freak, but thought to be a project. He went in the 5th round. Who knew he’d play like a first round corner his first year? It’s all a gamble. I’d rather Beane trade down than up. Should also mention I was against the Kincaid trade up, but that’s looking like a solid one. Most others - besides Josh Allen - we could’ve done without.
  5. Elam would benefit from a fresh start and if you asked him candidly I’m sure he’d welcome one. It stings even more when you consider we traded up for him.
  6. I knew the Bears and their fans would have buyer’s remorse eventually, but didn’t think his value would be questioned after game 1! Edmunds is not a difference maker? I’m shocked! SHOCKED, I tell you!
  7. If I could take any defensive player in the league, right now, it’d be Parsons. He’ll get a pass rusher’s contract, not a linebacker’s.
  8. He may not be long for the Bills. Notice how Dawkins hasn’t received any restructures or extensions. I think the Bills would like to get better at that position, but have had too many other holes elsewhere to replace what has been a mostly above average LT.
  9. Interesting dichotomy. Is it because you enjoy the lead up to the Arsenal game (with everything that entails) and want to relish in that? And don’t enjoy the NFL talking heads hyping a Bills game so you’d rather get to it quick?
  10. Need the 90s commercials to go along with it!
  11. Kincaid said if he was able to run at the combine/pro day, his forty “would’ve been in the 4.5s.” Can’t remember where I saw that interview, but that’s his quote. Not sure where the 4.7 time is coming from.
  12. Hmmm… count me among those who don’t completely understand the genesis of this article. We’re to celebrate the fact that Dion lost 40 extra pounds of fat as some sort of commitment to the team? Versus the alternative to this situation which is, you know, showing up and weighing 370 pounds? Commitment isn’t spending time shedding extra bad weight, commitment is getting with a nutritionist and personal trainer early in the offseason and dedicating yourself to working on your build, maximizing your athletic attributes to perform at your best in the 310-320 pound range. That’s commitment. Strange piece.
  13. A lot of money tied up in a non-protected position like QB. For him and his team’s sake, hopefully he stays healthy, but that would be a “no” from me, dawg.
  14. I said earlier the Bills could use at least one TE who’s a blocking specialist versus just using an extra lineman.
  15. They’re the only AFCE team Allen hasn’t gone off against. He’s due.
  16. And had McD NOT called those defensive TOs that seemingly never work, Mahomes and Kelce wouldn’t have had the time to discuss how the Bills were playing and how they’d attack that look if run again. Kelce would’ve had to run the route Mahomes was expecting in real time and the result might’ve been different. If only Jerry Hughes could’ve got there a half a second faster…
  17. Reportedly the Bills wanted Webb in a coaching capacity, but he still wanted to play, so he turned down the Bills offer and signed with the Giants, IIRC.
  18. Brandon Smith is the Penn St LB who drew comparisons to Edmunds. A great athlete, but no instincts. Drafted in the 4th round, I’m surprised the Panthers have already moved on.
  19. I said it before and I’ll say it again. I do think if we held a TBD poll on who to draft when the pick is up, we’d have a better drafting history than Brandon Beane. BUT only after the 2018 draft. Allen wouldn’t be on this team if it were up to TBD at the time 😅
  20. I think the inverse is true actually, which is also why top DTs get paid more than top MLBs. There’s no faster path to the QB than inside, so if you get a good one, they’re gonna get paid. I think Eddie O is a good player, just too inconsistent. He has too many games where he disappears and you wonder if he’s even playing. When he’s on, he’s on, but we need to see it more often.
  21. Scary thing is, he had offers to move back in the 2nd and would have, but was hell bent on drafting Boogie if he made it to their pick. I really, really wish some other team had taken Basham.
  22. Noooo… I want NO part of Edmunds at the contract he got versus Oliver at his, even if Oliver is a rotational DL. I’ve seen Eddie O take over games, albeit not many, but he has. Edmunds has had 1 game where I felt like he was all over the place. Oliver is better at his job than Edmunds was at his and is cheaper.
  23. Not at all surprised. Hopefully they get something decent in return.
  24. IIRC, they tried to cross train Dion on the right during camp when he was a rookie and the result was not good. He’s much more comfortable on the left. His skills/athleticism aren’t the problem, it’s his bad weight/conditioning.
