  1. Or lift the jugs machine?
  2. Groot wasn’t even in the top 10 DEs for run stop win rate.
  3. From the Bears fan perspective the criticism started very early, by game 2, which surprised me a bit. By game 3 they were already questioning “what does this guy do well? He’s billed as a coverage linebacker yet he’s terrible in coverage.” That one had me laughing. When I last checked midway through the season some considered it a positive when he got hurt against the Chargers. That game was the last I kept up with Edmunds and how Bears fans perceived their new LBer.
  4. There’s an extremely high rate of injuries on the Bills in the last few years. At one point they almost never got injured, I think they were something like 4th in the league in missed games. Now it’s one guy after another.
  5. So much for sitting him out in a preseason game. Just reaffirms - injuries can happen anywhere at any time. This one happened in an individual drill.
  6. Do you maybe wanna include an interesting excerpt from the story since it’s behind a paywall?
  7. At least the Bills have LB depth this year should he be out for half the season.
  8. The 60M dash is an actual race and the world record holder is Christian Coleman with a 6.34. Dude is the fastest short sprinter on the planet.
  9. Not to jump into others’ arguments, but as a fellow math brain I’d just like to point out that if two tenths of a second is roughly equivalent to 2 yards of separation, or six feet, then two hundredths of a second cannot be equivalent to roughly a meter, or three feet. EDIT: Also, it would follow that 0.4 seconds of separation would be equivalent to roughly 12 feet, or 3.66M, which is a pretty great distance. Bust out your measuring tapes and plot out 12 feet.
  10. Dawkins owned Judon, he never really made an impact in Bills games. Good player, but it’s a “meh” from me, dawg.
  11. Also, I remember reading that Bill Parcells didn’t care for kickers. If one was struggling, rather than the coddle approach he’d make sure his kicker saw his shadow on the ground before he kicked in game situations. Or he would just stand off to the side, deliberately in his eye line. Maybe that’s what Bass would respond to better, an ever looming threat from his HC. Probably too late for McD to reverse course though.
  12. Found it interesting that when pressed about the good from the game, McD mentioned Bass’s 24 and 49 yard kicks in two separate pressers, as a highlight of the game. Those are fairly routine for a “good” kicker and shouldn’t merit a spotlight. I think McD is intentionally communicating to Bass through the media in an effort to raise his spirits. It was said by Beane that Bass didn’t have a fragile mind, the misses don’t affect him. Wonder if Brandon still feels that way…
  13. They shouldn’t be. The fastest NFL athletes have all run track at some point in their lives. To a man they’d tell you - besides Tyreek - they can’t run with Olympic sprinters.
  14. Lost in the Milano injury and stone hands Cook, Bass continues to miss FGs…
  15. They call him MR GLASS! Get well, Matt. And stay well…
  16. Fastest 40 I’ve heard of (laser timed) was a 4.12 by Christian Coleman. It’s on YouTube. Bolt ran a 4.22 without warming up and in sweatpants. I heard the difference between 0.2 seconds is equivalent to 2 yards, so yes, Hill would be close to Olympic sprinters with his 4.28 time (as DK Metcalf was when he raced), but he’d have ZERO chance of hanging with any of them over 60M or 100M. He’d finish dead last, like Metcalf. As our own Marquise Goodwin used to tell us, “I’m fast, but Olympic level speed is a different beast.”
  17. Marino has an infatuation with Kingsley Jonathan. Wonder if he got paid to consistently paint him as a plus.
  18. Jags took one 70 yards against the Chefs, but since it didn’t result in a TD, it’s not being highlighted this morning.
  19. I almost fell for your satire 😅
  20. At the combine Hamlin ran a 4.59 and Rapp crawled his way to a 4.78, so they’d probably be the slowest starting duo as well.
  21. There was one along the right sideline against the Dolphins I believe, that he did drop. It was a difficult ball, but certainly catchable. Think it was the game in Buffalo.
  22. For those who have seen Davidson plenty, how does his game compare to Mike Gesicki?
  23. It’d be the same scenario for both kickers: the ball is at the 35 yard line, :04 left, down by 2. The conditions are perfect, minimal wind. Which kicking unit would you rather see on the field - the one that could win the game (Bills), or the one that could beat you (opponent)?
  24. I’ve got one for you all… would you rather: A) Depend on Bass to hit a 52 yarder to win the Super Bowl? or B) Take your chances with the opposing kicker (could be any of them) and require that he makes a 52 yarder to beat the Bills and win a championship?
  25. Does anyone remember the days of “two-a-day” padded practices? How do the amount of injuries compare then versus now?
