  1. I’ve long said that Oliver deserved the contract extension and would’ve been the player I paid if it came down to him or Edmunds, but he needs to step his game up. He’s been far too invisible, both he and Jones. When Ankou and the rookie Carter flash more with less reps, you know there’s a problem.
  2. I like Elam starting at CB more than I like Hamlin starting at FS. Also, let’s be glad no one took Beane’s calls to trade up for Cole Bishop in the 2nd, because there’s a good chance Ray Davis wouldn’t be on this team.
  3. Couldn’t stop the run, couldn’t stop the pass. Dolphins did pretty much what they wanted to at will. Other than that, the defense was okay.
  4. Yeah that’s the part that gets me. Even if a certain person is targeted and subconsciously influenced to say a specific thing, they’ve still gotta say it. Never have I seen a mentalist stuck with an answer they weren’t expecting.
  5. The way it was explained to me, was that the answers to the questions are planted throughout their environment, everywhere, the people can’t help but to see them over and over, but they don’t realize what they’re seeing. When the mentalist asks the questions, the people give an answer that reflects what they’ve been subconsciously seeing. The biggest hurdle I see in that is that the person still has to say what you expect him/her to say and I’ve never seen it fail. They’ve never deviated from the answer the mentalist needs, so that’s the weird part.
  6. Chiefs have looked like an average team most of the year, but they’ve still got Ws against the Ravens, Bengals, and 49ers that add to their 7-0 record. I don’t see them losing more than 2 games the rest of the way, no matter how flawed or injured they are. As long as Mahomes and Chris Jones remain healthy, 15-2 is their floor. We will likely finish as the 2 or 3 seed, which also means we’ll have to go through both BAL and KC to reach the SB.
  7. Stroud may be the most sacked QB in the league after tonight.
  8. Yes, the rules were posted in another thread. He and any other player is allowed back midway through their suspension.
  9. The poll results would indeed be more interesting if it was on the Chiefs board.
  10. Houston is likely one of the 4 division winners, so for Buffalo to host, we’d have to get the 1 seed, or HOU would have to finish ahead of BAL. Let’s hope either scenario comes to fruition.
  11. One of the 3 will have the luxury of not playing the other 2. That was the point.
  12. It’s a long way away, but with talk about already clinching the AFCE, the only way for BUF to avoid having to play both BAL and KC in the playoffs (assuming those two take care of business), they will have to wrestle the 1 seed away from KC.
  13. Feels like Solomon should get more play time priority than Toohill.
  14. They made the decision to bring up a PS DT rather than have Logue active. If that’s the case Logue should be cut.
  15. I was unaware of it at the time since I don’t follow Dallas, but there were loud cries from former players like Michael Irvin that Amari was “selfish” for not getting the vaccination. Florio said he was putting the entire team at risk. Once the media starts making it a divisive issue, it gets to be a snowball that grows and villainizes the player. Dak had to speak publicly about it to defend Cooper and we all know how Jerry Jones felt about it, so it was an uncomfortable situation. If Amari had fallen in line and just got the vaccination, I don’t think he would’ve got traded to the Browns, even with the emergence of Lamb. They were quite happy with Cooper’s production and what he did for that offense. As far as the stadium booing, maybe 4 years ago but not now. Let’s just be glad the vaccination issue is a thing of the past.
  16. They do somewhere. When Von first joined the team, he and Groot played on the same side and it was said Groot would have to learn the other side because rushing the RT was where Von has made his bread and butter. What I was reading also listed Von’s stats from the past 5 years (prior to joining the Bills) and something like 88% of his production was from the defensive left. Showed how the Rams tried to initially use him on the right, going against LTs, but then he gravitated back to the left like when he was a Bronco and spent almost all his time there. The stats are out there on Rousseau as well, maybe someone else knows where to find them.
  17. I was talking to a Cowpokes fan about why Amari was moved and he said there was an entire ordeal about Cooper’s decision not to get vaccinated, that Jerry Jones didn’t take that well and there was sort of a falling out. He said it had much more to do with that than paying Cooper market value.
  18. Problem is, that’s the same side from where Von rushes best. They put up stats of how effective Miller was rushing from the left and right and he’s had far more reps and production in his career from the defensive left.
  19. McD on the pass that hit Coleman in the head in Houston: “let me clear that up, that wasn’t Keon’s fault.” Sounds like Josh saw something and went off script and Keon wasn’t on his page.
  20. Could Lamar be a 3x MVP? Would the league grant him back to back honors?
  21. The defense has been Charmin soft in the first halves. The schemes allow QBs and WRs to play pitch and catch and the flats are hardly defended, so TEs and RBs also have uncontested receptions. If you ask me, the coaches depend too much on the front 4 to disrupt the QB. When they’re not getting back there (as is usually the case in the first half), the back 7 have the resistance of tissue paper. To their credit, the Bills have adjusted well in the second halves, but I’d like to see schemes that open with the assumption the front 4 won’t come out disruptive.
  22. “You’re my boy, blue!”
  23. Whole game changed on that 4th and 2 failed conversion on their own side of the field. WTH were they thinking??
  24. As much as I love TB43’s game, he’s not a must re-sign. Too often injured.
