  1. These AFCN teams are weird. Literally any of them can beat another on any given day, doesn’t matter if it’s a last place squad versus the division leader (although there are trends: BAL struggles to beat PIT, CIN struggles to beat BAL, etc). Theres not a ton that separates them, you only see what they’re about when they play the rest of the NFL.
  2. My vote would’ve been New Mexico. Albuquerque has a big meth problem. I believe it’s where Breaking Bad was staged.
  3. Don’t get me wrong, Knox, like Davis, had some great moments/games, but over a larger sample size mistakes seemed to shadow him. And yes, Knox had a hand issue if I remember correctly.
  4. When Knox had a bigger receiving workload, incompletions, clumsiness, and INTs kinda followed him around the same way they did Gabe Davis, but when the connection works it’s great.
  5. I also think it’s possible the team had a collectively bad game. I said at the time the defensive and offensive game plans were wrong. You don’t defend a heavy rushing team by giving them a light box 60% of the time, nor do you play small ball against a defense that was known for giving up chunk plays. They also confused our OL for much of the game which was just as bad. It was a collective team failure, not in any way indicative of how much better BAL is than BUF. If they played again I don’t think BUF loses by 4+ scores.
  6. Bernard isn’t the best run defender or tackler, but I’m not sure there’s a better pure coverage linebacker in the league. Also blitzes really well due to his body control and agility. He’s everything we wanted Edmunds to be, in a much smaller frame.
  7. Was over on Chiefsplanet reading the meltdown. Absolutely HILARIOUS how they believe the refs were on the Bills side all game.
  8. Surprised Jones didn’t move off of him and challenge someone else more frequently, like David Edwards.
  9. It won’t be nearly that easy, but I love the optimism! I know it’ll be nice to be near full strength when we play them again. That’s hardly ever the case. *knock on wood* that major injuries are in the rear view mirror for our impact/pivotal players.
  10. Not against the Chiefs. They haven’t allowed a single RB over 60 yards all year if I heard the broadcast team correctly. Part of that is the scheme they run, they always seem to have at least 5 on the LoS and then the back 7 is very quick to trigger on a rush attempt. If we had a speedster down in/down out to get behind their defense, their aggressiveness could be had.
  11. Always thought RVD looked good every time he played. The fact that Grable surpassed him on the depth chart speaks volumes for how good the rookie can be. Wonder how his health is.
  12. I wouldn’t mind if Rasul Douglas and Elam start rotating snaps, ala Dane Jackson/Levi Wallace.
  13. Big time missed facemask before the half, big drop not reviewed. Didn’t matter, Bills 9-2, baby!
  14. Samuel has been a revelation this game. Has been open much more too and hasn’t got the ball.
  15. Josh not seeing open guys and not throwing accurately. You gotta STOMP on the neck of KC, stop letting them hang around!
  16. He’s gotten loose a couple times, always a thorn in our side.
  17. See why KC is so good at defending the run. They’ve got at least 5 on the LoS every down.
  18. Bills defensive scheme probably grants more free releases to receivers than any other team in the league.
  19. Somehow I knew Worthy would have the best game of his young career 😅
  20. Bernard, so nice to have him against KC. Feel like he hasn’t played against them much.
  21. Seems the Steelers bring at least 5 on the rush every down.
  22. That resulted in an inactive player and a 4th round pick.
  23. I don’t care that we hit on Benford, that trade up for Elam still stings.
  24. He took a step so big, it almost seemed like he intentionally wanted that foot to land out of bounds.
