  1. I like Cook or Ingram in the 3rd. This draft is loaded with pass catching tight ends!
  2. I like how some of you are saying that Aaron consistently gets double teamed. Double teamed?! He hasnt been doubled in the last three years!! Their have been scrub LTs that have been handling Schobel. Maybe that was due to the foot last year, but he hasnt been a threat at DE for almost 3 years now. Whoever brought it up that he only has one move - a wide loop to the outside - was spot on. He lacks the speed/agility to burn his man quickly and consistently... We desperately need two new DEs.
  3. Well according to some "insiders" we had many offers to trade down the year we drafted Donte Whitner. Unfortunately this year's draft could play out the same way. We'll probably stand pat at #11 (despite numerous trade down offers) and select another player the caliber of Donte Whitner. It's the Bills, what can I say??
  4. I think that we should stand our ground at #11 and draft another Donte Whitner caliber player. How many of you just threw up in your mouth a little bit?!
  5. I remember back when we selected Puke Preston over Brown and Mel Kiper was confused. Said that Jason Brown was excellent value and graded out much higher than Puke Preston and was wondering why the Bills selected Preston over him. At the time I thought that the Bills scouts had done their homework; obviously Kiper is the one who knew what he was talking about...

  7. Is that Marvin Philip or Junior Seau?!?!
  8. What is this "trade down" that you speak of? These Bills trade up for marginal talent that couldve been had at their original spots - Posluszny, McCargo. The best thing that you can do in the draft, is stand pat in rounds 1-3, because there is no such thing as "cant miss" prospects. In these last two drafts alone, with our multiple 3rd round picks, we shouldve came out with at least 8 players picked in rounds 1-3 rather than the 6 chosen. Instead, we ignored requests to trade down and instead traded up to draft marginal talent. THAT is why these Bills have not been to the playoffs in this millenium...
  9. We play KC, Jax, and Cle because (like us) they finished fourth in the division. The Jets will play the teams who finished third in the other divisions and so on...
  10. Personally, I like the Turk a lot more than most on this board. There have been times in many games this year where the playcalling has been BEAUTIFUL (flowing and consistent) and obviously, times when the playcalling has been horrendous. He is a first year offensive coordinator - my question is: should he stay or should he go? If you vote for him to leave, which coach would you hire in his place? The Turk has definitely been too pass happy at times this year, but overall his playcalling is superior to Steve "run, run, pass, punt" Fairchild. I would prefer to hold onto Schonert, while hiring a new head coach - but that's just my opinion...
  11. I too believe that Turk's offense is too pass happy in many situations. However, say what you want about Schonert, there are still WRs runnin around open in the secondary and we dont seem to have a QB that can get them the ball.
  12. Its as basic as plants ----> insects ----> animals: everything will fight for its life in an effort to survive. D Jauron doesnt want to "die"/get fired. He is doing all of the scratching and clawing that he can, but his claws, which are decorated with fingernail polish, have about as much fight as a tumbleweed.
  13. Big props on this one!
  14. 1) Kelsay - this decision is not only performance based, but also cap related. 2) Puke Preston/Melvin Flower - the weakest spot on the OL and also a big reason why our running game fails to consistently produce. 3) Robert Royal - please get a TE that can be a legitimate threat! I grow tired of Royal's boneheaded mistakes at crucial times. 4) Keith Ellison - liability in the running game as well as the pass rush. A much needed upgrade could be used here, but fortifying the DL is IMO of greater importance. Players like Ellison could be made better with better pieces in front of him. 5) Ko Simpson - sorry, I liked this guy coming out, but it's painfully obvious that we need a ball hawking safety. Whitner rarely gets a finger on the ball and Simpson is always late to react. There you have it Bills fans, the top needs in order. Shore up these positions with some studs and we WILL be talking playoffs in 2009!
  15. That's what you assume... Getting a first down would have served two purposes: 1) Getting Lindell in closer range. 2) Running the clock down to :03. There were still over 30 secs left when Lindell missed that kick. All Cleveland wouldve had to do is get into field goal range. Being a Bills fan, if you know anything you know that the seemingly impossible, is possible...
  16. Also, when was the last time that Kelsay made a play? Who is this "Kelsay" that you speak of?? Does he play for the Bills? Seriously though, if his contract is not reworked at the end of this season, then he just needs to be cut. The contract that he signed in the first place should've been largely performance based. This team needs big, bad, mean, DEs in the worst way! Not $6-$7,000,000/year DEs who are light weight and generate little to no pressure.
  17. Bruce Smith is the last DE that we've had who required 2 blockers. I cant recall the last time I saw Kelsay or Schobel double teamed. They both only have one pass rush move also - loop outside. When they try spinning back in ala Dwight Freeney, they are neutralized due to their lack of quickness. Also, neither are strong enough for the opposing LT/RT to take a bull rush seriously - leaving our high motor DEs with only one move: loop wide outside. We need a beast at DE, case closed...
  18. What I dont understand is New York City's refusal to show a Bills game. Buffalo is more New York than the Jints/Jests yet they havent shown a Buffalo game the entire year Anyone know why they'd rather show games from across the nation, staying away from the regional Bills?
  19. Or head over to the Bills bar in Manhattan - McFadden's and Calico Jacks. 42nd st and 2nd ave - It'll be my first time showing up on Sunday and they say that a couple hundred Bills fans come out to support the team.
  20. Sigh... Was just dealt with one of my life's biggest blows - car just got stolen with pratically ALL of my clothes in it. In retrospect, it was incredibly stupid to load my car with my clothes (moving off of Staten Island) prior to leaving. If anyone is in the NYC area - maybe Staten Island specifically, look out for a dark green 1995 Toyota Camry - license plate T65 VBP. If you come across it, please call the police ASAP!! I am one of the last people that can afford this kind of setback at the moment
  21. What 115 idiots rated the offense's performance as a D?! Have they been watching Bills football anytime within the last 14 years?!?!?!
  22. Meh, looks like he's only running at 1/4 speed.
  23. I agree, that first picture is ridiculously smooth. Post it on city-data.com, I think they give away stuff to the top pictures (I think).
  24. Was Stroud and Schobel playing earlier?
  25. Which defensive starters didnt start the game?
