  1. Not saying it’ll happen this year, but I always thought the Bills would win the SB in a year where no one expected them to. Also thought next year had the potential to be the strongest roster the team has seen in the modern era if Beane hit on at least 4 of his 2024 draft picks. It is looking prophetic, no doubt.
  2. I’m on record before all of this as saying if Diontae Johnson was on my team, I’d look to trade him. He’s an issue on the field and off and some of you guys (foolishly) wanted him.
  3. Yep, definitely not a strong suit of Allen’s either. When I said “put it on him” for a downfield pass, I meant give him a ball he can run under. Dropping a pin is a good analogy, but if the pin is that far off, then it’s more on the throw than how the receiver ran his route.
  4. True, but mostly on the shorter stuff. If a receiver is that wide open down the field, it doesn’t matter how he ran the route, there’s not going to be a lot of variation to it. You’re a NFL QB, put it on him.
  5. Strongly disagree with this assessment. He’s a JAG out there and has given up big plays due to being slow in recognition and foot speed. Rapp is playing at near a pro bowl level, that guy has single-handedly prevented quite a few TDs from happening. Not true with Damar. Hamlin is Joe B’s next to last rated qualifying player and is more of a feel good story than an impact defender. No ill will towards the guy, I love that he’s fully back from his scare, but he 100% needs to be upgraded in the offseason.
  6. Mostly bad passes is what I saw, less on the receiver.
  7. As much as I’d rather have Hyde in the lineup over Hamlin, you can’t do it at this point. It’d be a bad look for the Bills to bench a healthy guy who’s been there since day 1: participated every day of OTAs, training camp and has started every game thus far. If you bring him in, I agree, it’s for an advisory role, but Hyde has been on record as saying he’s not interested in coaching players.
  8. Without having numbers to back it up, I’d venture that Beane has had far fewer misses on draft picks than almost all other GMs. Because of that, the Bills roster has depth and is solid across the board. Where he struggles is in identifying blue chip talent, though there’s largely luck involved, as the blue chippers (if correctly identified) would go much earlier than any Bills pick. Knox was a serviceable TE signed to a bad contract and then we traded up for Kincaid with the expectation he’d be a Laporta or Bowers for this offense. Didn’t love the move at the time. It’s still plenty early in Kincaid’s career, so hopefully it does happen at some point. The chemistry between he and Allen needs to become tighter.
  9. Combination of name recognition and a couple of plays he made in nationally televised games. I wonder if we could use that designation this offseason and fleece some other team in a trade? The irony is Hamlin is one of the top 3 guys on defense I’d love to upgrade.
  10. I think it happened after the Dunne piece to be honest. Blessing in disguise.
  11. I see him getting handled 1 on 1 pretty easily. Both him and Oliver. It’s shocking that neither guy isn’t more disruptive. At least get off a single block.
  12. 100% should be the approach, but you’ve gotta commit bodies to stopping them. Light boxes won’t get it done against that group, unless you’ve got a Ted Washington on the DL.
  13. If they are the 6, they’ll duke it out with PIT in the wildcard. Actually the way it’s shaping up, I think those two teams will see each other regardless. I don’t think the Texans finish with the 3 seed in any scenario, they’re not strong enough.
  14. Don’t think so. Ravens will be the 5 or 6 seed, can’t see the Bills dropping to 3.
  15. At least Barkley went to an NFC team. Thanks, Giants.
  16. Thought they’ve just been feasting on the NFC LEast, but looks like Philly’s defense is legit.
  17. How long was the other one he missed?
  18. When the Ravens are playing their best football, they’re arguably the most dangerous team in the league.
  19. That should’ve been illegal contact on #14 Hamilton for the Ravens.
  20. Once it was clear they’d make the playoffs, I stopped rooting against their regular season wins. Our 2nd round pick will be determined by how quick they get bounced from the tourney.
  21. Who says there’s no significance to the number 13? Week 13 is a wacky one!
  22. We want PIT to win the AFCN if we believe KC takes the 1 seed. That way, assuming higher seeds win, the Ravens will travel to KC in the divisional matchup and the Bills will play PIT.
  23. Seems like these coaches were watching the Bears implosion and have erred on the side of caution.
  24. Riq Woolen is a tad bit overrated I see. 6’4” CB with 4.3 speed, but I keep seeing him get burnt. That should’ve been a TD to Devante Adams, poor catch, even worse pass.
