  1. Positives: Nic Harris looks great again Negatives: Trent Edwards, The OL, the DEs get absolutely NO PRESSURE. Im still wishing we went with Everette Brown in the spot that we drafted Byrd. Get rid of these ineffective bodies at DE!!
  2. I remember after the Cleveland game last year, all I saw was: Trent Edwards SUCKS! Trent Edwards SUCKS!! TRENT EDWARDS SUCKS!!! Ladies and gentleman, he still has yet to show me something to look forward to...
  3. I hope not... No need in getting false hope.
  4. Right, Left, Right, Left, Up, Down, Up, Down, B, A, B, A, Start - Contra / Unlimited lives (NES)
  5. The holdout was completely unnecessary. I am sure that this contract he has signed today, existed 4 weeks ago. It is in line with the parameters of the other 1st round contracts...
  6. SportsCenter went from SportsCenter to FavreCenter in roughly 60 secs. All coverage... Favre is expected to sign for $10-$12 million dollars (one year). Mixed reaction among fans in Minn... EDIT: reported to be a two year contract, but for all intent and purposes, it's basically a one year contract. Vikings broke camp Aug 13 - GREAT timing Brett!!
  7. According to SportsCenter, Brett Favre was on a 9:10am plane this morning headed to St Paul, MN. He is expected to sign with the Vikings today... It never stops. It NEVER stops!!
  8. The Maybin situation is beyond ridiculous. He better come in lighting it up...
  9. Easily correctable mistake by Nic Harris. He'll learn not to abandon his coverage. If he does abandon the coverage, he needs to make sure he chucks his guy to the ground (within 5 yds) before pursuing the QB.
  10. Roscoe has yet to return a punt this preseason. Last game it was RB Bruce Hall on PR and KR.
  11. Any and all comments from first hand observers are always welcome and appreciated. Thanks for relaying your observations
  12. Maybin can sign whenever he wishes. If anyone is blaming his agent, STOP. Did the 12th pick overall have to wait for the 11th overall pick to sign?? Of course not, just like the 11th overall pick doesn't have to wait for the 10th overall pick to sign. If he really wanted to be with the team in camp, he would have been here by now...
  13. Some of my biggest complaints: QB M. Ryan (ATL) - 85 M. Cassell (KC) - 83 T. Edwards - 76 DB D. Rodgers-Cromartie (ARZ) - 87 L. McKelvin - 78 RB T. Jones (NYJ) - 90 M. Turner (ATL) - 95 M. Lynch - 87
  14. Also remember that Levitre played LT at Oregon. In addition to making him learn a new position, why would you want to move him to the other side of the center?
  15. Yeah, I can understand them making it mandatory in McFadden's cuz the bouncer told me that too many people who hadn't paid for wings, would just steal the food and it was too tough for them to keep track of who paid vs who hadn't. So I said "fair enough" and tried to walk over in Calico's but was met with the same resistance - "You have to buy a bracelet". Do you have some kind of pull to make suggestions at Calico's at least? While I was standing outside for 3.5 hours (cuz I couldnt bring myself to relocate during the game and didnt have the $ to get inside), SOOO many Bills fans were being turned away b/c they too hadn't brought the required $. I didn't return to 42nd/2nd Ave after that day...
  16. I went to Bonnie's this past season because I didnt appreciate the fact McFadden's and Calico Jacks now require you to pay a mandatory $15 (for unlimited soda/wings) or $20 (beer/wings) upon entrance in order to watch the game. Bonnie's is GREAT as far as the burgers go, but they dont have the big screen tvs that you like to experience while watching the games. With that being said, I'll probably go back there regularly until the B'wing cover charge is lifted at McFadden's/Calico Jacks. It's just too crowded at McFadden's anyway and everybody 'eats' over everybody else...
  17. I like the Defensive coaches Kim has learned from - Belicheat and Saban. We need some of that to rub off on our DL in the worst way! In other news: I know that you all are reading the OTA reports. How do you feel that our DL are getting "would be" sacks against the offense?! I hate hearing that Kelsay is getting sacks, it makes me think that if Butler cant block an ineffective pass rusher such as Kelsay, how is he going to fare against better competition??
  18. Nope, no legal trial here - this topic is not that important... However, if you are referring to my request for you to back up your statements with one single shred of evidence to support your claim, why are you are unable to do so? I provided a video that immediately contradicted your ridiculous claim that Lynch takes 4 strides to cover 5 yards. All I am saying is that if you are going to scrutinize and analyze a player's skill set, at least have the evidence to backup your statements. Otherwise, your unfounded claims portray you as the individual who is driving the short bus...
  19. Hmmm... I have seen every game Lynch has played as a member of the Buffalo Bills. Your argument states that Lynch is constantly getting caught by DBs. I ask you, how many times has Lynch successfully gotten to the second level without someone on his back?! Give me a specific instance where Lynch was running free and got caught in a footrace. I have a pretty good memory and could tell you about the interception that MLB Brandon Spoon had against the Panthers during our 3-13 season, but I cannot recall Lynch getting "hawked". Until we get effective run blocking from the OL and WRs on this team, he will never have the chance to get caught from behind (like Barry Sanders in his early years)...
  20. Im not sure where you are getting your numbers from. Four strides to cover five yards at full speed?? NFL OL aren't even that slow! Unless you run a sub 4.46, you are not faster than Lynch, sorry. You may wanna check this video and show me where your proof is: Marshawn at full speed
  21. Lynch does have speed, we just haven't seem him running out in the open (due to a !#$!@ OL) to display it. I dont think that he displays it running off tackle (and he tried to bounce too much outside last year), but he is plenty fast, just not Adrian Peterson fast...
  22. "I like our guys a lot, I really do." DJ continues, "Obviously it has to translate out there on the field, but I think that we have the potential to win some games and as you know, it's really hard to win games in this league, really hard."
  23. Dick Jauron?? Is that you?! This year, are we still going to hear "it is really difficult to win a game in this league"?
  24. I think that they should give him an ultimatum, a date by which he should make up his mind... It's either sign with the Buffalo Bills and instantly be the one of the two starting OLBs, or miss that opportunity and sign with the Bears for a one year deal and compete for a starting OLB spot. Which is it Pisa??
  25. I think there have been more than a few WRs that have been more talented, or physically intimidating than Jerry Rice, but here's the thing: none of them match Rice in terms of work ethic, desire, and mental focus/attitude. That is what sets him apart from the rest of the supremely talented WRs in NFL history.
