NO WAY and I mean in NO WAY is Kelsay/Denney better at their positions than Langston Walker was at his. You can cut the 2nd best DE in the preseason (C. Bryan), in favor of keeping the 3 slowamigos (Schobel, Kelsay, Denney), but cut a decent LT/RT in favor of an unknown?? Trentative just got even more tentative What does it say that productive players get the ax, while undeserving players remain on this roster? Our player personnel group has to be the WORST in professional football.

Turk Schonert does have a role in contributing to the lack luster performance of the offense this preseason, but he isn't the biggest problem. The main problem lies with the guy running the offense/throwing the ball. To put the blame on Schonert would also indicate that if Tom Brady or Peyton Manning were to step behind center and run the same offense, they too would have similar stats the past few games - 7/11 - 45 yds 1 int; 6-13 - 31 yds 1 int.

I saw all that I needed to see on a drive in the second quarter: a play action pass was called. Trent fakes to Dominic Rhodes and Rhodes runs about a yard past the line of scrimmage and turns around to be an outlet. Trentative Edwards in fact NEVER looks anywhere else on this PA pass, eyeballing Rhodes the entire time. Rhodes gets blasted on a 1 yard gain. He could have had Lee Running open, Roscoe, Josh, a tight end, WHOEVER! But Trent NEVER surveyed the field for an open wide receiver. His confidence is non-existent right now. Hopefully he can make a few plays Monday night in Foxboro to get some of that back, but Im not counting on it...

Wasn't that last game where it was 3rd and goal from the 13 yard line and the Bills called a run play? Why throw into the endzone, DJ prefers field goals...

Why is this joker still on the team?!?! He must have naked pictures of someone in the FO. I was watching him exclusively on passing downs and I am beginning to think that if the OT that usually blocks him, just stood there and actually let Kelsay run around, he would run 15 looping yards around to the QB out of habit. There is NO WAY he expects to get to the QB on passing downs and I can see it in his effort. CUT HIM TOMORROW!! Biggest waste of money this side of Mike Williams!!

Go back and look at it. Rhodes was the only player that Trentative was watching. He was WAITING for the checkdown pass.

Somebody PLEASE tell McKelvin that you cannot give a 10 yard cushion on the 5 yard line! The Patriots, just like GB did with Jennings, will turn that into a quick pass and get 6 every time... He should either play press or stand on the goal line, NOT 5 yards deep in the endzone.
